What a day!! A total whirlwind of emotions! Happiness, proud, pain (oh the pain!) but crossing that finish line with my friend who ,not even a year ago was facing her own battle with cancer, brought a tear to my eye!!
We have finished with an amazing sense of achievement, (plus leg cramps, achy backs and a feeling of exhaustion!) but we’ve done it and we couldn’t be happier (and relieved 😂😂)
The dehydration headache has well and truly kicked in now but I wouldn’t have changed it for the world (well maybe trained more than once a week!😂)
Haven’t got a final figure yet for Macmillan Cancer Support but I think we’re over the £1.5k so thankyou soooo much!
Plus the support of my family and friends who were there to cheer us on meant the world!
