Try Something New This November!
Okay, so I appreciate we're over a week in, but perhaps my 'something new' is to be less efficient! 😉
Finally, I'm excited to share the Action for Happiness calendar for November, focusing on the theme of "Trying Something New!"
Action for Happiness reminds us:
"Trying something new helps us grow. Fresh activities bring joy and confidence – and can often help us see challenges in a different light."
I couldn't agree more! Changing your routine, no matter how small the action, offers significant benefits for your mental health:
Boosted Confidence: Successfully completing a new task, even a small one, builds self-belief.
Increased Mental Flexibility: Stepping out of your comfort zone trains your brain to adapt to change, making you more resilient.
New Perspectives: A shift in routine or activity can offer a fresh outlook on persistent problems or life challenges.
A Spark of Joy: Novelty is engaging and can bring unexpected happiness and a sense of accomplishment.
