Today we meet and feel into the peace, as rest is required. Take time to reflect on your week. What came up for you? Did you overreact in a situation perhaps? What were the triggers do you think? If you can take a few deep breaths and contemplate on the emotion or emotions it brought up to the surface? Was it fear, anger, regret, joy, gratitude, peace, confusion?
As a human, we are made up of many emotions. Sometimes a childhood emotion is buried in ourselves. A recent interaction with a family member, a work colleague, a child even - can bring out the original emotion we managed to bury in our subconscious, out of fear, a humans natural initial defence, but as adults we may get replays but in a different scenario.
If we look at our emotions that come out, try to sit with that emotion for 5 minutes at least - not the scenario that brought it about in some way, let all the emotions surface, sit with it, as painful or uncomfortable that may feel and let it go, through tears if they come, this is cleansing. Send that emotion to the light with love, you no longer need it, let it go.
As we peel the ‘emotional onion layers’, we slowly release what holds us back. Send it out with love & peace. Trust in your own healing ❤️🩹 x
