We've just had out first (Let's Make) A BLoody Good Plan day and it was a winner. Some delicious feedback, many moments of clarity, realisations and alignment.
Some joined to create a business plan, some were working towards a creative goal and others through something more personal, a way back home.
No matter your needs, this is an excellent place to be.
Taking time, making space, to plan is an investment in your well-being, a happier and more meaningful life.
📅 Save the Date: Join us on 6th September 2025
✨ It's time to stop floundering, slow down, and focus!
Commit now by opting for the 50% OFF 'Pay What You Want' before it runs out (minimum £25).
Don’t miss this opportunity to come home, align and get cracking on something you want and deserve.
There is such momentum around us, in us. Just keeping us going, doing the same thing over and over. And we mean to stop, we mean to breathe, we mean to prioritise but the eeeeeasiest thing is to just keep going and "deal with it later".
That's why I created the New Pathways Programme, to hold that space, to press pause on the momentum so you have space to see a little clearer.
We meet every Monday (morning or evening), it's refreshing, reflective, playful, honest and gives you a chance to turn to yourself and the life you're choosing to live.
You don’t need a new month or a new year to begin again.
You just need a breath. A moment of stillness.
🕖 7–8am or 7–8pm
🌿Online, real-time, held-with-care
You’re invited. Not because you’re broken - but because all of us need holding sometimes.

Sometimes I just need someone to guide me through.
So, I made this…
A full-day live planning experience to get your head clear, your heart aligned, and you revving at the lights to get moving.
Book before July 8th July to choose the Pay What You Want option (£25minimum).
I’ll guide you through:

‼️CAN YOU HELP?‼️Some of you know I train actors too. Iain and I have been offering scholarships since the day of Both Feet - Actor Training's conception 8 years ago but we're getting to a point where we can't afford to do it any more. So we're turning to anyone who can spare a fiver or more.
Do you value the arts?
Maybe you watch telly, or films, or get sucked into a series.
Maybe you have a favourite actor or comedian.
Only 8% of people in the industry were self-defined as working-class compared with around 45-50% of the population.
Over 50% of leading actors attended private school, compared to 7% of the general population.
Our society cannot afford to lose the voices of the underrepresented. Please help!
Our gorgeous friend Sheena has got some wise words about waterfalls here, have a read ###
Waterfalls are really fun. But waterfalls are also really risky. You may see photos like this all over Instagram and feel inspired to find your own. Before you do, here are some safety points to bear in mind...
🛝 Entry and exit point around waterfalls are notoriously slippy from all the spray, even on hot days. Check how you are going to get out safeky before getting in and ALWAYS wear something grippy on your feet.
🪨 With all the moving water, it's hard to see what's under the surface. Always enter feet first and proceed slowly testing the riverbed with your feet.
💧Water levels can change REALLY quickly. I set out today in bright hot sunshine, but it had been raining all night in the mountains, and there was a lot of flow even in the smaller rivers. Don't underestimate the power of the water to knock you over and hold you under.
🫧 Never go right under the waterfall if the water is deep, as you can be pulled into an undertow, which makes it hard to surface.
🚿 It's a real buzz to put your head under the waterfall, but only do this if you are WELL acclimatised to having cold water on your head and neck. If not, you risk conditions like Temporary Global Amnesia (TGA) or short-term memory loss when the blood vessels in the back of your neck constrict quickly in response to the very cold water.
❄️ Waterfalls are always cold, even in the summer so don't stay in for long, take plenty of warm clothes and something hot to drink afterwards. Cake is an absolute essential 🍰!
Waterfalls are my passion, I love finding them, swimming in them, and photographing them. But they do deserve respect, so bear all this in mind and go have fun!

A little peak into our first Annual Under The Stars Retreat The Forge
"The most beautiful, powerful, life changing three days filled with love, connection and pure joy - I'm already longing for next year!"
"Replenishing, challenging, beautiful, fun, a chance to feel community and belonging, a taste of a different life."
Once John Edward James gets home from his holidays we'll be able to put something even more reflective of our time together, and might even have Stephanie Morgan's face in it!
It was a very, very special few days despite Steph being a poorly bean.
💯- we are one whole system that society has broken into small parts.
New research shows western medicine’s traditional split between brain and body is, in fact, far from clear cut – and could provide a breakthrough for many complex conditions

"There's a theory that says that life is based on a competition and the struggle and the fight for survival, and it's interesting because when you look at the fractal character of evolution, it's totally different. It's based on cooperation among the elements in the geometry and not competition."

Created by theatre director and acting coach Stephanie Morgan, Bodlondeb Retreat is especially designed to cater for actors, theatre-makers and other creatives. Whether needed as a studio space, a rehearsal space, or simply an affordable place to come and be inspired, Bodlondeb Retreat offers artists a safe space in which to develop their craft, nurture their mental well-being and creativity whilst reconnecting with themselves and nature.
We have three functions:
Home to Both Feet Retreat: professional intensive actor training course
Bodlondeb Retreat: Courses for amateur actors and anyone wanting to boost confidence, encourage spontaneity and develop their mental well-being.
Available to hire: creatives, theatre companies, artists and well-being practitioners looking to rent an inspiring space with on-site accommodation.
Who are we?
The retreat is run by husband and wife duo Steph and Iain, with a helping hand from their two small children Fox (2 years old) and Pip (6month old). Steph is an entrepreneur, NLP Practitioner and mBit coach, theatre director and acting coach who specialises in The Meisner Technique. She is the founder & company manager of Both Feet Actor Training, training professional actors all over the country with a focus in Leeds and Manchester. Iain was a chef, kitchen manager and food developer for nearly 15 years but hung up his whites in 2018 to be the main carer for the children, allowing Steph to focus on her teaching, directing and running the family business.
