✨ Discovering Reiki
a little of my journey ✨
As many of you know, I’ve spent much of my life caring for others through nursing. Over time, I began to see just how much our emotional and energetic wellbeing influences our physical health and how often we overlook that gentle, healing connection between mind and body.
That’s what first led me to Usui Reiki a Japanese form of energy healing that supports balance, deep relaxation, and emotional release. It’s now recognised by the NHS and many hospices as a complementary therapy that can help reduce stress, anxiety, and even aid recovery by calming the nervous system.
For me, Reiki offered a sense of peace when everything felt too much. It reminded me what it’s like to breathe again, to let go, and to trust my body’s natural rhythm.
Now, I feel privileged to offer this gentle, restorative practice to others whether in-person or remotely.
Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing a little more about the Reiki principles, simple, beautiful words that hold so much truth and calm. 🌸
