This Sundays Play Group will be 10-12 Demesnes Barnard Castle

🎪✨ SATURDAY FUN! ✨🎪

Our SEND bouncing disco will be at The Demesnes in Barnard Castle, running from 2–4pm, but we’re welcome to stay and enjoy the atmosphere all evening! There’ll be:

💥 Trampettes
⚽ Physio balls
🌀 Spinners
🎶 Music
…and plenty more sensory fun!

There’s also:

🎤 Live music until 8pm
🍔 Street food
🍹 Bar open to the public
🛝 Play park in the field
🎠 Toddler fairground rides (there were some there last year too!)

For the adrenaline seekers 🎢 there’s also a fairground in the Morrisons car park — I’ll be there with Jay from 12pm if anyone wants to meet up 😊

Stay & Play at the Witham will still be on as usual 🤩

🚗 Please note: the car park will be inaccessible due to the fairground. If you park on the front street, I’ll be opening the front door 😊

Our SEND marquee session is going to be packed with fun! 🎉

We’ll have Andrew Nicholson hosting a quiet disco, plus lots of sensory equipment, calming lights, and interactive activities for the children to enjoy.

While the children explore and have fun, parents can relax and enjoy the celebrations happening on the Demesnes too.

We’re also hoping to have some small fairground rides for the children to enjoy, making it a really special day for everyone.

💚 Teesdale SEND Stars at Barnard Castle Meet Weekend 2026 💚

We’re proud to be welcoming Teesdale SEND Stars to this year’s event — a fantastic local non-profit organisation supporting children with SEND and their families 💛

For 2026, they’ll be hosting a special 2-hour session on the Demesnes in our small marquee, offering a safe, calm, and welcoming space for children to enjoy sensory play, activities, and time to connect.

🕑 Saturday 23rd May
⏰ 2:00PM – 4:00PM
📍 Lower Demesnes (Small Marquee)

Their sessions are always designed to be inclusive, relaxed, and supportive, creating an environment where children can explore, play, and thrive at their own pace.

Our little stars had a lovely SEND session this morning 🤩

Thank you all so much for your very kind donations towards Teesdale SEND Stars, storage shed. We have very kindly been donated a shed from Graham's Logs and Timber, which is amazing news for the group.

As a result, the money we have raised is now available to go towards equipment, trips, and supporting the long-term future of the group.

If anyone has any concerns or would prefer their donation to be used differently, please feel free to private message me.
