Most people spend hours driving 🚗 but few realise their posture could be the cause of back or neck pain 😤

Fix your driving posture with this 4-STEP CHECKLIST👇

✅ Align your spine with the seat
✅ Hips slightly higher than knees
✅ Head & shoulders against the backrest
✅ Elbows slightly bent when holding the wheel

Small changes = big relief for your back and neck.

🎯 Tight Shoulder Mobility? Try these 6 movements to open up your range 👇

Limited mobility and tightness around the shoulder often come from poor posture, overtraining, or long hours sitting.

This can lead to shoulder pain, stiffness, and restricted movement.

Regular shoulder stretching & mobility work improves flexibility and reduces tension; but if pain persists, seek treatment via a therapist for targeted release and correction.

✅ 3 Stretches:

1️⃣ Sleeper Stretch – targets the posterior capsule

2️⃣ Cross-Body Shoulder Stretch – releases the posterior deltoid & rotator cuff

3️⃣ Lat Stretch on Bench or Wall – lengthens lats, relieves shoulder tightness

👉 Hold 30 seconds × 3 per side per stretch

✅ 3 Mobility Exercises:

1️⃣ Wall Angels – improves scapular and thoracic control
👉 2–3 sets of 10–12 slow reps

2️⃣ Shoulder CARs – maintains full shoulder rotation
👉 2 sets of 5–6 controlled circles each direction

3️⃣ Thread the Needle (T-spine mobility) – opens thoracic rotation and shoulder glide
👉 2–3 sets of 8–10 reps each side

💡 Tip: Perform 3–4x per week. Focus on smooth, controlled movement — quality over speed.

🧠 Fun fact: The carpal bones in your wrist are named after Latin words meaning “boat, moon, pea, and hook” (scaphoid, lunate, pisiform, hamate).

💪 Wrist Pain Relief

👉 3 Mobility Drills: Perform each for 15–20s

The shoulder is one of the most versatile and important structures in the human body, playing a crucial role in nearly every aspect of our daily lives.

As a ball-and-socket joint with a wide range of motion, it allows us to perform essential movements such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and rotating. Whether we’re reaching for something on a shelf, carrying groceries, or simply getting dressed in the morning, the shoulder is at the center of these actions. Its flexibility and strength enable us to engage in physical activities like sports, exercise, and even basic tasks like brushing our hair or opening doors.

However, because of its mobility and complex structure, the shoulder is also vulnerable to injuries and strain, making it essential to maintain its health through proper care, stretching, and strength training.

Maintaining a healthy shoulder structure ensures we can continue to live actively and independently.

Did you know that tight glutes could be the culprit behind your lower back pain and limited range of motion (ROM) in your hips? 🤔

When your glutes are tight, they pull on your pelvis, leading to lower back discomfort and restricting your hip movement.

This lack of mobility can make everyday activities like walking, bending, or even sitting a struggle. Taking time to stretch and strengthen your glutes can alleviate the tension, improve your ROM, and help you move through life more comfortably! 🙌

Loosen your glutes, free your hips, and say goodbye to lower back pain!

A common FAQ: does wet cupping hurt?

The answer is no, but some individuals do report a ticklish sensation. From our years of experience, we’ve observed that patients with sensitive skin might feel slight discomfort, but never to the point of being unbearable; they typically rate it around a 4 out of 10 on the discomfort scale, with 10 being extremely painful and 1 being no pain at all.

During one research study completed in 2018, Wet cupping therapy significantly lowered levels of heavy metals (Al, Zn, and Cd) 30 days after treatment, likely by promoting their excretion. The exact mechanisms are unclear but may involve neurohormonal activation and nervous system functions. This therapy could be recommended as an effective complementary treatment for diseases involving toxic metal accumulation. (Umar et al, 2018)
