Tattoo rework can completely change how a piece feels on your body. Sometimes a design just needs stronger contrast, cleaner lines, and a bit of fresh life to become what it was always meant to be.

This tattoo rework was done by Maggie, who took the client’s original simple star outlines and transformed them into bold, vibrant stars with depth and colour. The new red centres and dark shading give the design much more presence, while still respecting the original placement and idea.

A good tattoo rework isn’t about covering the past. It’s about improving what’s already there and turning it into something that feels right again. In this case, the stars went from flat outlines to a strong, dynamic piece that now sits naturally with the rest of the tattoos on the body.

Sharleen came ready and got it all done: script + small flower under the collarbone, fine line lotus on the chest, and a mandala lotus on the thigh.

All in the same clean, soft style so they look like they belong together — even though they're in totally different spots. Different places, different levels of ouch... but she powered through it like a pro 🤍 Massive respect! 🔥
