๐ŸŒผ Hayfever season is here ๐ŸŒผ

As the days get warmer and pollen counts rise, many people start to experience symptoms of hayfever. These can include sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, a runny or blocked nose, and an itchy throat.

The good news is that there are a range of simple ways to manage symptoms and feel more comfortable during the season:
โ€ข Keep windows closed during high pollen times (early morning and evening)
โ€ข Shower and change clothes after being outdoors
โ€ข Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes

There are also effective treatments available from your local pharmacy, including antihistamine tablets, nasal sprays, and eye drops. A pharmacist can help you choose whatโ€™s best for your symptoms.

If your symptoms are persistent, severe, or not improving, please do get in touch with us for further advice. ๐Ÿ“žโ˜Ž๏ธ๐Ÿฉบ

๐Ÿ˜ด Struggling with sleep?

On World Sleep Day weโ€™re highlighting how important sleep is for your health.

Adults should aim for around 7โ€“9 hours of sleep per night. Poor sleep can contribute to:
โ€ข Stress and low mood
โ€ข Reduced concentration
โ€ข Weakened immunity

Try improving your sleep routine by:
โœ” Going to bed at the same time each night
โœ” Avoiding caffeine late in the day
โœ” Keeping phones and screens out of the bedroom

If sleep problems persist, speak to a GP for advice.
