Accellacare covers a wide range of therapeutic areas with particular expertise in 12 therapeutic areas; cardiology, dermatology, respiratory/pulmonology, CNS and pain, vaccines, infectious diseases, women’s health/gynaecology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, medical device. If you have ever taken prescription or over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, your life has been touched by clinical research and the contribution of hundreds or thousands of clinical trial participants. Through the important clinical research process, medicines, medical devices, and vaccines are developed for those who need them most. All clinical trials in the UK are regulated and approved by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MRHA) as well as an independent ethics committee. This is to ensure that both the rights and wellbeing of clinical trial participants are not compromised. When you participate in a clinical trial, you will be welcomed by our professional and caring staff who will guide you through the process and help you feel comfortable and appreciated as a research trial participant. You will visit the investigator (doctor) or other members of the study team for health assessments, physical exams, laboratory tests, or other procedures required by the study protocol.
