We have declared a Critical Incident due to severe and sustained pressure on our services.

Demand on our hospital beds has led to significant and unacceptable delays in our Emergency Department (ED) and across our hospital wards. Patients are having unacceptable and lengthy waits and staff are working under extreme pressure.

Declaring a Critical Incident is not a decision we have taken lightly, but it is necessary to protect patient safety.

Great news guys.

The Council have now saved the money they needed to save and our street lights will be on all night again this month.
Hopefully this will reduce a bit of crime and help us all feel a little safer again l.
