John Bernard live at Central Library

Coventry Poet Laureate John Bernard will be performing some of his powerful and socially conscious work at Central Library on Monday 19 August at 1pm

Bernard has become a standout performer in the world of poetry and music. He has taken to the stage at some of the UK's biggest events and venues, including Shambala Festival, Godiva Festival, BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022, and Symphony Hall with the BBC Symphony Orchestra. He has also created work for brands and organizations such as Formula 1, BBC, Flannels, TBN UK, Royal Shakespeare Company, Belgrade Theatre, BBC bitesize and many more.

So sorry the Painting for Pleasure course we are starting on Tuesday LTB Showrooms is now fully booked. We cannot accept drop-ins on the day as places are limited.

But we have exciting news!

On October 10th we are starting to run a series of workshops led by professionals in their field illustrators, painters, and photographers.

These workshops are for creative people who want to learn what it takes to make it in the arts and pick up some of specialist skills.
