🤍 Be grateful for the small things,
the big things,
and everything in between.

Because sometimes, it’s the quiet moments, the ordinary days, or the tiniest gestures that carry the most meaning.
Gratitude turns what we have into enough.
Pause. Breathe. Appreciate.

Don’t ask for permission to fly.
Your wings are yours 🦋 built from every challenge you have faced.

Healing means trusting yourself enough to fly even when it’s scary. ❤️

❤️You are not hard to love ❤️
You have just been around people who didn’t know how.

That doesn’t mean you are too much.
It means they weren’t equipped to love you the way you needed.

Your sensitivity isn’t a flaw.
Your standards aren’t the issue.

Stop quieting parts of yourself to be accepted ❤️

The right people won’t make you question your worth. ❤️

💫💛💫💛💫 Not everything makes sense while it’s happening especially when your in the middle of anxiety, burnout, heartbreak, or just trying to hold yourself together.

Mental health journeys are rarely straightforward. Healing doesn’t always look graceful. It can feel like chaos before it becomes clarity.

The setbacks, the silence the overthinking 🥹 the days you feel like your barely functioning , they are not signs of weakness. There signs that you’re human that you care, that your trying.

Some chapters are meant to teach patience. Others are here to build strength. Even the uncomfortable moments are part of something bigger. You won’t always see the meaning right away, but that doesn’t mean it’s not there.

So if today feels heavy, pause. Breathe. Be gentle with yourself.

You don’t need all the answers right now. Just trust that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be even if it’s messy, even if it hurts.

Don’t get stuck in the past with your head down 😔 the future is in your hands.✨

We all make mistakes. We all carry memories, regrets, and “what ifs.” But no matter how heavy the past feels, it doesn’t have to define you. Every single day is a chance to rise above it, to learn, to grow, and to create something new.

The past already happened you can’t change it. But the future? That’s yours to shape.

Lift your head. Let go of what you can’t control. Focus on what you can create. Because your next chapter hasn’t been written yet and your hands are holding the pen. 💪💫

We get used to a familiar hell.
Chaos, anxiety and pain we adapt too.
We know how to survive there.

But when things start to feel good peaceful, happy and safe…
That’s when the self-sabotage creeps in.

Not because we are broken.
But because we are in unfamiliar territory.

Healing isn’t just about managing pain.
It’s about learning to stay present in joy.
To feel safe in the good.
To stop waiting for the other shoe to drop.

You’re not healing to get better at surviving.
You’re healing to finally feel safe living.

And that’s the real work. Wishing you more of that unfamiliar heaven. ✨

Understanding the FAWN Response 💖

You have probably heard of fight, flight, and freeze responses but have you heard of the fawn response?

The fawn response is a trauma response where someone tries to avoid conflict or danger by people pleasing complying or appeasing others 💫 often at the cost of their own needs.

It’s not just being nice
It’s your nervous system trying to keep you safe.

Signs of the Fawn Response 💫

✨ Struggling to say no
✨ Feeling responsible for others’ emotions
✨ Avoiding conflict at all costs
✨ Apologizing often, even when you’ve done nothing wrong
✨ Feeling anxious when others are upset with you

You didn’t choose this response 💛 it developed to protect you. But healing means you can choose differently with time, safety and support. 💛

Lets talk nervous system and the freeze response🙏

Freeze is a survival state not a flaw. Your body did what it needed to do. Healing happens gently, when safety returns.

💫 How to Gently Exit a Freeze State (No Forcing, Just Care) 💫

When we’re in freeze response and feeling numb, It’s the dorsal vagal response our nervous system’s way of keeping us safe by shutting down.

Coming out of freeze takes slow care not force.

Here’s how you can begin to thaw, gently.

1. Notice and Name It

I’m shut down right now. That’s ok. My body is protecting me.

2. Connect to Breath

No need to change it yet. Just notice it. If it feels okay, try slowly lengthening your exhale.

3. Move Just a Little

Wiggle your fingers or toes. Press your feet into the floor. Tiny movements = big shifts.

4. Ground Through Your Senses

Touch a textured object.
Name 5 things you see.
Listen to soft sounds or music.
Smell something soothing.

5. 🤝 Co-Regulate
Be near someone safe, even in silence. Your nervous system feels connection more than words.

6. Express Gently
Draw, doodle, write metaphors, or hum softly. (Humming activates the vagus nerve!)

7. Back to Movement
Stretch. Walk slowly. Bounce lightly. Dance a little. Go slow.

⚠️ What NOT to Do:
❌ Force yourself to “snap out of it”
❌ Use stimulants to override it
❌ Shame yourself for freezing
