Raising awareness of mental health issues is a fundamental way of helping to destigmatise mental health. We want to both initiate-and maintain- the conversation of mental health as doing so will increase the number of people who seek help. It really is so important to talk to others when we are struggling, we understand how hard this can be but seeking help is crucial in looking after yourself. Because, you really really matter❤️and you deserve to feel happy ❤️⁠⁠

Many men feel as if they cannot open up about their troubles due to societal pressures of having to "man up"; ultimately, this leads to men bottling up their feelings and emotions. There are so many negative consequences of doing so. Opening a conversation around mental health is so important so that men feel able to talk about their worries as a problem "shared" really is a problem "halved". ⁠⁠
⁠⁠
We are here to help encourage those men who need and want to speak up, to speak up. Because, you are not alone and you are allowed to feel and show your emotions, despite what society may say.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
We extend our hands out to you, always.⁠⁠
This will always be a safe space for you.⁠⁠
Please speak up if you are struggling. Support is always out there ❤️

Mental health problems are common. They affect thousands of people in the UK, and their friends, families, work colleagues and society in general.⁠⁠

🔹It is estimated that 1 in 6 people in the past week experienced a common mental health problem.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
🔹10% of children and young people (aged 5-16 years) have a clinically diagnosable mental problem.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
🔹Depression is the predominant mental health problem worldwide, followed by anxiety, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.⁠⁠
