✨Leaders Gathering ✨
Last night was our first Leaders gathering of 2026

A great opportunity to reflect on everything we achieved in 2025 and to share what's happening in 2026...

It was also wonderful to welcome some of our newest volunteers and to introduce a new staff member who will be joining the team very soon. 👀

📣A huge thank you to Sophie, one of our volunteers, for leading an insightful session on neurodiversity and autism. She shared practical ways our leaders can adapt their responses to young people, particularly those with ADHD or autism, helping them feel safe, supported, and confident during sessions.

🥹 Straight from our inbox

We recently received this incredibly heart-warming message from a mum whose son took part in our 12-week school programme at Cardinal Wiseman Catholic Secondary School

📣🏀Through basketball sessions combined with group conversations around mental health, her son - who had been struggling with self-confidence - slowly began to open up. Week by week, he found his voice, spoke more during sessions, and carried that confidence home.🏠

His family noticed a real change in his wellbeing 💙

Meet our Gym Bros 🏋🏾‍♂️😎
Since December, over 12 young men have already joined the Gym Bros Programme!

Gym Bros is a free mentoring programme for young Black men aged 16–25, combining gym sessions with powerful wellbeing conversations led by trained GB leaders.🫱🏾‍🫲🏿

🗣️Together, we talk about self-confidence, peer pressure, and other topics that matter to young men.✨

A huge thank you to Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind for supporting us through the Young Black Men Project 💙🙌🏿
