Navigating parenthood comes with its joys and challenges.

Our Buggy Talk group offers a safe and welcoming environment for mums, dads, grandparents and caregivers to connect, share, and support each other while enjoying some fresh air and gentle exercise.

Buggy Talk runs every Wednesday 9.30am - 10.30am in Miners Welfare Park (meeting at the Mayors Cafe), Bedworth and every Thursday 9.30am - 10.30am in Riversley Park (Meet at Saints Cafe), Nuneaton.

Nuneaton & Bedworth PCN is now offering Enhanced Access provisions for our patient population! This means you can book appointments with Healthcare Professionals during extended hours:

🕡18:30 - 20:00 | Monday - Friday
🕘09:00 - 17:00 | Saturday

Our in-house service is now available to assist you. Just give us a call on 02475 107 053 to book your appointment. Please note, this phone line is only manned between 5pm & 8pm on weekdays and 9am-5pm on Saturdays.

Including spouses, partners and carers

The Veterans Contact Point (VCP), in partnership with local GP practices, George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, and Warwickshire County Council, is offering free health checks to support the wellbeing of veterans in our community.

Health check includes:
• Blood pressure
• BMI
• Cholesterol & blood sugar
• Mental health support
• Referral to GP or VCP if needed

Let’s make sure emergency services are there for those who truly need them. Here’s what to do and not do:

✅ Do:

- Use NHS 111 for 24/7 medical advice
- Visit your pharmacy for minor illnesses like sore throats, earaches or rashes
- Use self-referral services like physio, mental health support, and sleep help
- Seek help early to avoid worsening symptoms

❌ Don’t:

- Go to A&E for minor conditions or non-urgent issues
- Wait until symptoms become severe before seeking help
- Use emergency services when local support is available

Let’s work together to ease pressure on our NHS and keep A&E available for life-threatening emergencies only.
