「生蛇」原來比你想像中普遍,據估計40歲以上嘅人士,每3個人就有一個會罹帶狀皰疹。由於現代社會生活節奏急促及工作壓力等因素,生蛇更有年輕化嘅趨勢。
「生蛇」係醫學上叫名為帶狀皰疹,由水痘病毒(VZV) 引起。如果細細個出過水痘嘅朋友,病毒會潛伏於神經節,一旦身體免疫力低、壓力大、唔夠瞓,佢就會沿住神經路線爆發,變成一條「火蛇」攻擊你。
📍 生蛇常見位置:
• 胸口、腰側(最常見)
• 頸、背、手腳
• 臉部、眼周、耳背(最危險!)
若病毒侵入眼部三叉神經,有機會引發 角膜炎、視神經炎,嚴重者甚至會永久性視力受損。如果你發現眼角、額頭附近有紅疹水泡,再加眼痛或視力模糊,請不要坐視不理,應立刻就診求醫!
🇬🇧 英國 NHS 點攪
• 通常會開抗病毒藥(如 Acyclovir):需於發病72小時內開始服藥,可以減輕症狀、預防後遺神經痛。
• 止痛藥:包括 Paracetamol、Ibuprofen等
• 若病情影響眼/耳/面神經,會即時轉介眼科或耳鼻喉科急症。
💉 NHS 亦有免費提供 疫苗,畀長者預防生蛇發作。
🌿 中醫點睇?
中醫認為生蛇多與 肝火旺、濕熱、氣滯血瘀 有關。治療方面會:
✔️ 內服中藥(如龍膽瀉肝湯、血府逐瘀湯等)
✔️如位置許可,可以以艾灸堵截「蛇頭蛇尾」,以限制病毒沿神經擴散。
✔️ 中藥草外洗患處(金銀花、蒲公英、苦參等)消炎止癢
✔️同時建議保持患處乾爽、唔好刮破水泡,並避免接觸孕婦、小朋友同免疫力低者。
中醫重視整體調理,特別適合發病後期仍有神經痛,或體虛、容易復發嘅人士。
最後,提提大家,生蛇並非不治之症,及早發現並把握黃金治療期72小時內就診求醫,預後通常良好。
當然防範於未然最緊要:減壓、足夠睡眠、唔好捱夜,飲食清淡,保持抵抗力、正氣充足先係根本。

🌿 Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) views shingles as related to excessive internal heat, dampness, and blocked energy flow. Treatment includes:
✔️ Herbal formulas (e.g. Long Dan Xie Gan Tang, Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tang) to clear heat and move blood
✔️ Moxibustion to “cut off” the path of the rash — stopping the spread of the “snake head and tail” along nerves
✔️ Herbal washes (e.g. honeysuckle, dandelion, sophora root) to ease itching and inflammation
✔️ Focus on body balance and immunity — ideal for post-shingles nerve pain or frequent recurrence
🕒 Early action within 72 hours brings the best results. Prevention is key: rest well, manage stress, eat light, and stay healthy.
