A big downside to doing tarot as a disabled woman is that pain & fatigue can make it harder to do readings.
I try to read for people as soon as they contact me but sometimes I need a bit longer.
I do appreciate the patience. 🖤

When you have friends that read & they do you an incredibly reassuring draw. Best thing being when the card on its own gives you reassurance before the reader even adds their extra value from their intuition.

It’s the equinox!

A day for remembering balance, for celebrating both the darkness & the light. A day to remember that the wheel of time is always turning & that in the darkest of times light is returning.

I haven’t done my weekly reel I’d hoped to do.
I haven’t done a reading I need to do.

Energies are so weird right now though. That plus life, plus my disability are not creating a calm intuitive environment!

We still have 6 planets in retrograde & today the Moon & Uranus are lining up causing emotions to feel raw.

Look after yourself. And others. We all need gentle.

The good news on the horizon is that Mercury Retrograde ends on Saturday & is almost lined up perfectly with a new moon so I think stuff will start to feel easier soon.

A cautionary tale and a plea for consideration. Before you solicit a personal service from someone be sure in your own mind that you want it and are willing to pay them for their time. They can’t get that back if you change your mind.

The other day someone contacted me and after querying my prices they then asked me to do my most thorough, & expensive (£15) reading.

So yesterday I sat down with my cards. I meditated on their photograph and when I felt I had placed myself in the right spiritual place, I shuffled & dealt the cards. My process is that I voice type the reading to begin with. This usually takes about 20 - 30 minutes. I then read through it, tidying up the typing and making sure that it is legible and easily to understand. This maybe takes another 30/40 minutes. The finished result in this case was a 2000 word piece of writing.

Having done the work I messaged the customer and they suddenly decided they were fearful I was ‘a scam’ & wanted me to somehow prove I wasn’t. No issue had been raised before they asked me to do the reading. Happy to try and be of help, I sent a photo of the cards & a brief summary of the reading. They weren’t satisfied & then refused to pay. What a waste.

I wanted to post this to remind people that there is a person behind the profile you click on. A human. I’m a disabled woman whose time & energies are hugely limited. I chose to spend some of this energy on tarot work. Please don’t squander it.
