When people see sports therapy or sports massage they have a tendency to think it’s just for athletes…. There are many little niggles pains and injuries that can benefit from a sports massage or a deep tissue massage as a better way to put it for those who aren’t into sports… when you sleep funny, when you throw your back out or crick your neck it can all be helped with a sports massage… during the massage the toxins are stripped and drained from your muscles relieving pain , improving range of movement/flexibility and speeding up injury healing no matter how you get them

Intro post 👋🏻 hi I’m Karis a level 3 sport’s therapist at The Real Deal Sports Therapy and here’s a little bit about myself and why I’m so passionate about sports therapy…. I have boxed for over 20 years on and off and played rugby for over 10years, I enjoy a range of physically strenuous activities and have spent a lifetime in the gym, as you can imagine over the years I have picked up my own fair share of injuries both from the sports I do and just in day to day life. I have learnt the importance of correct treatments for injuries and look forward to adding to my knowledge, experience as well as adding new treatments to help reduce and alleviate pain .
