Last weekend, our Lead Nurse for HPN Mary Williamson, and Paediatric Clinical Operations Manager Abigail Morris, represented Lloyds Clinical at a special Family Fun Day hosted by the Paediatric Gastroenterology Team from the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust Children’s Hospital.

The hospital welcomed children living with intestinal failure requiring Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN), along with their parents and siblings, to the fun filled day. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring families together, create connections, and offer a safe, supportive space to share experiences that are often deeply personal and sometimes isolating.

Families had the chance to meet others on similar journeys, while also engaging with clinical and healthcare professionals, in a relaxed, informal setting.

We’re proud to be part of events like this that place patients and families at the heart of care. Thank you to the Southampton team for hosting such a meaningful day. 💙

Last week, our Nursing team took part in the Mighty Hike 2025, organised by our charity partner Macmillan Cancer Support , along the stunning Ullswater Way in the heart of the Lake District.

“Together, we raised over £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, a cause that resonates deeply with all of us. As a company dedicated to delivering oncology care, we see firsthand the challenges our patients face,” shared Lauren Lucas, Head of National Operations. “Macmillan provides vital, emotional, practical, and financial support to people living with cancer and their families. Their work complements ours, ensuring that patients are not only treated but truly cared for throughout their journey.”
