Our purpose designed and adapted care home nestles near the village centre and enjoys an outstanding reputation with care professionals and the local community. We are close to the bus stop and the village, doctor’s surgery, post office, shops, pub, train station, library and church. The home was carefully refurbished last year. Great consideration has been given to the design ensuring that the environment is comfortable and cosy with the latest disability equipment and adaptations incorporated. We offer superior accommodation and a high level of specialist dementia care at reasonable prices. The friendly, experienced and well-trained team support independence and provide personalised care, tasty meals and stimulating activities and entertainment. The delightful home has single bedrooms, many with en-suite. The facilities include Wi-Fi, a selection of cosy lounge-diners, Hair salon and relaxing landscaped sensory gardens.

We made Chocolate coated Swiss Rolls topped with Strawberries and sprinkles which went down a treat and were gone in an instant!

We are getting into the festive spirit at The Knowles and are running a Christmas raffle. Gifts include chocolate hampers and tickets to Gulliver's Land, all ticket sales go towards our Resident's fund. Tickets are available at The Manager's office 😊

It was a pleasure to host our local MP Zarah Sultana MP at The Knowles Care Home to pack essential items for Handonheartwwp winter campaign. Packs included thermal socks, wooly hats and essential toileteries. A fulfiling excercise by all and items will be distributed to rough sleepers around the country.

On this Remembrance Day, let us remember all those brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for the country. Remembrance Day is the day to give back love to those soldiers who loved our nation selflessly. May they always be in our prayers. Happy Remembrance Day to you all. ♥️
