Yesterday afternoon, David came to see us. He went round singing to small groups of residents, playing songs which they enjoyed, and joined in with.
Betty took one look at David, pointed, and said: “You Are My Sunshine”, to which he said he’d sit and sing that to her straight away☀️🎸🎶😊

Yesterday, I took some of our residents to The Official Phantom Coach Sizzling Pub and Grill for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their lunch 😋 the company was lovely and the atmosphere was great (albeit a little on the cold side so we kept our coats on, but the residents do we feel the cold more than the rest of us). Thank you to the families that joined us too 🍽🥰

Armistice Day 2025 🕊🕯💐✝️

As the weather scuppered our plans to go to The War Memorial Park, we decided to watch from the comfort and warmth our home instead 😊

We joined the rest of the UK in doing the 2 minute silence, followed by dancing and singing to some classic war and post war songs; like We’ll Meet Again and the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, amongst others 💃🏼🥰
