Take a look at our latest poster of dates and make a note of anything you’d like to join us for 😊 These are on the notice boards on the ground floor, first floor, by the sign in book, and in the lift, we love it when families join us 🥰

😂World Laugh Day is on Sunday 3rd May, we’ve got lots of props and fun planned around the usual church visits 💛

More information will follow for the pub lunch & Naylor’s Ark Sanctuary trip in 5th June, the Father’s Day event on 20th June, and Summer Fair on 27th June… 💜

We’ve been really enjoying the warm, sunny weather this week (minus yesterday) ☀️

From sitting in the garden soaking up rays, to walking round the garden watering the plants, to going for walks round the block, we’ve loved getting our fix of vitamin D and catching up with our friends 😊

Gemma came to sing for us today, and as always she was absolutely lovely 🥰 She had everyone involved with little music quizzes, singing, dancing, tambourines and waving ribbons all around.

June was so quick with her knowledge of songs, getting answers right every time! Such a wonderful morning full of smiles, music and happy memories 💜🎶

On Friday, we were treated to a relaxing morning with Julia from Angel Wings Therapies 🧘‍♀️✨

Our residents enjoyed peaceful time filled with soothing music and soft lighting to promote relaxation and wellbeing. It was lovely to see smiles, relaxed faces, and everyone enjoying the experience in their own individual ways.

Happy St George’s Day for yesterday 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

This morning we combined St George’s Day, Memory Lane Club and the monthly residents meeting. Whilst discussing topics of upcoming trips out, and what activities the June, Julie & Christine wanted to see more of, we coloured in St George’s Day pictures 🖍😊

Once we’d discussed what we have planned over the next couple of months at Herald Lodge, we moved onto reminiscing about 1940s and 1950s in England and Coventry. We’ve got a good selection of books with photos of these times to help us remember.

It was a great morning, lots discussed and planned with the residents’ help 🥰

Julie loves being in the garden 🪴🥰 Any opportunity to be out there pulling up weeds, planting flowers, watering the garden and sitting outside, Julie is there 🌱🌷☀️

Yesterday was the perfect weather to sit outside and get some vitamin D, chatting to Jas about their love for a sunny day and the garden 😊
