💙 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 💙

We were proud to support Chris and his family’s inspiring 120-mile walk from Sedgefield to Gainsborough over 6 days in aid of the Retford District MS Group. 🎉

Chris has lived with MS for over 15 years so this walk led by Karolynne and Chris's brother, Warren, was a powerful way to raise awareness and funds for a cause close to their hearts.

Thanks to their efforts and the generosity of many supporters, they raised an incredible £1,692, smashing their original £500 target! 🙌

What a fantastic time we had closing out our final mobility day of 2025 at Locomotion in Shildon! 🚂

This year we welcomed over 1,000 guests across all four of our mobility days. So, a huge thank you to everyone that joined us! If you didn’t manage to get along to one of our shows this year, not to worry as you can get a free home demonstration of the vehicle that interests you most at a time that suits you.

Assistance dogs not only offer companionship, but they also help many disabled people maintain their independence, confidence and overall quality of life by supporting them with everyday tasks. Ensuring you can safely travel in your wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) with your furry friend is therefore vital. 🚗🐕‍🦺

So, whether you’re heading down to the shops, work, or on an epic road trip adventure, to help you travel in your mobility car with your assistance dog safely and confidently, we’ve teamed up with Chloe Hammond, a community care nurse who travels in a WAV and credits being able to do her job largely because of the support of her assistance dog, Ocho, to share some best practices to follow when travelling with your dog.
