We're so proud to promote Neurodiversity Celebration Week! In Talking Therapies, we support our neurodivergent clients by adapting the way we deliver therapy to better suit their needs.

Find out more when our Neurodiversity-trained clinician speaks to Clive Brookes on Coventry Hospital Radio on Thursday from 5pm!

https://coventryhospitalradio.org/meet-the-team/clive-brookes/

This Neurodiversity Celebration Week, we’re shining a light on the importance of creating workplaces where everyone feels seen, supported and understood.

By embracing neurodiversity, we strengthen teams, unlock creativity and improve care for our communities. 🩵

There are free online events happening all week. The sessions look at topics like fairness, good workplace design, and how leaders and organisations can better support neurodivergent people. These events are open to everyone and aim to help create more understanding and inclusive places to learn and work.

Update on the possible social media ban for under-16s:

MPs have voted against it (307–173), saying that a full ban could push young people toward less regulated corners of the internet.

At Talking Therapies, we are always in support of protecting young people’s physical and mental wellbeing and ensuring safer online spaces. As you can imagine, this can aid in reducing social anxiety while helping young people feel more resilient and confident in managing their mental health. 🧠

Today we’re celebrating Day - Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England’s campaign that promotes inclusive, psychologically safe workplaces.

We know how important it is for people to feel able to speak up, share ideas and bring their full selves to work. When we feel safe and valued, wellbeing improves, creativity grows and teams perform at their best.

**Celebrate identity. Strengthen performance. Today and every day. ** 🌿

Group therapy is a powerful therapy as it offers a supportive space to learn new skills, connect with others and realise you’re not alone in your experiences.

Many people find that hearing from others facing similar challenges helps build confidence, motivation and a sense of community.

We offer a range of evidence‑based group treatments for anxiety, depression, menopause, mind and body, which are led by our trained clinicians.

Sometimes the best way to move forward is together. 🤝

Any questions? Contact our team at talkingtherapies@covwarkpt.nhs.uk.
