Specsavers Hearing Centre Coventry is looking for a friendly, bubbly, positive individual to join our admin/customer service team.
The position will involve administration duties, taking bookings and queries over the telephone and dealing with customer queries and hearing aid maintenance on the shop floor, occasionally working under pressure. There may be an opportunity to train in some clinical procedures for the right person.
You must be a quick learner and be computer literate, with a reasonable understanding of Microsoft applications. Obviously, training will be given but we use various IT platforms so if you're terrified of technology then this probably isn't the role for you!
We expect this role to involve 25-30 hours per week, mainly during peak periods, but will include either a full day each week either on a Saturday or Sunday, as we are based in a retail environment and offer a 7 day a week service. We also need someone who can be flexible and can do extra hours during school holidays and other periods to cover staff holidays, and who can accommodate changes to their working schedule from time to time.
This position is permanent and offers the opportunity to develop. We want someone for the long-term, so the post won't be suitable for students looking for part-time work whilst studying.
We're not looking for someone with the most qualifications but with a great personality, a mature outlook and preferably with lots of empathy and patience.
You also need to be committed, totally reliable and trustworthy, and have a positive mental attitude .
