Halu (pronounced Hay-loo) is an alternative holistic therapy service specialising in Tera-Mai TM Seichem Reiki. Reiki sessions are held in a serene home environment by Reiki healer Ruth Whitehouse who is Reiki II Tera-Mai attuned. You will be guided on arrival to a tranquil, calm room where you will have an initial free of charge consultation to discover which Reiki treatment is best for you. A 30

minute to 1 hour session will be carried out on a comfortable treatment bed, accompanied by scented aromas of incense or diffused essential oils, a candle lit atmosphere and soothing background music, all designed to give you the most relaxing Reiki experience possible. So, what is Reiki and Tera-Mai TM Seichem Reiki? Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is Japanese for ‘universal life energy’ and is also a word used to describe a system of natural healing. This tradition was founded my Mikao Usui in the early 20th Century and evolved as a result of his research, experience and dedication. Simply put, Tera-Mai TM founded by Kathleen Milner is a healing system born out of Reiki. Tera-Mai uses the elemental Earth healing ray, this was then expanded upon where the elemental healing energies of Fire, Water and Air/Spirit were added to the original Reiki/Earth energy. So Seichem incorporates all four elemental healing rays of Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Reiki is a tradition that is open to any belief system. What are the benefits of Reiki?
