SCHOOLS | The Education team have been on the road delivering Anti-Bullying workshops as part of the programme to partner schools 📚✏️ Raising awareness of the impact of bullying and who to talk to for support 🩵

Yesterday was a special workshop at Wheelwright Lane Primary School & Nursery with special appearances from Coventry City FC stars Liam Kitching and Kaine Kesler-Hayden, talking about how to create an inclusive school atmosphere ⭐️👏🏼

HEALTH | Today we celebrate our 1 year anniversary of Walking Football in Nuneaton [in partnership with the Nuneaton and Bedworth Primary Care Network] 🥳⚽️

Growing from 8 participants on week 1️⃣ to over 4️⃣0️⃣ regular attendees; this free, weekly session has been hugely beneficial both mentally and physically ⭐️

💬 Numerous Walking Footballers commented: “Everybody looks forward to this Friday morning session. We have a fantastic group, who have really bonded, made friends and supported each other through some difficult times”

“I’d feel lost without this session on a Friday morning. Every time we leave, we leave with a smile on our faces” 🙂👍🏼

PLAYER VISIT | Yesterday we had an amazing turn out to our Broadheath Primary Girls Football After School Club ⚽️

We had a surprise appearance from Coventry City FC players Jake Bidwell and Tatsuhiro Sakamoto, who joined in our Q&A workshop 🚫💬

Participants and players discussed their thoughts on challenging racism and what appropriate adults can support in moments of need ✅
