PFA Community Player of the Year - 2025/26 🏆

Congratulations to Liam Kitching, who has been awarded the PFA Community Player of the Year for the 2025/26 season, recognising his outstanding contribution off the pitch.

The award, which celebrates the positive impact players make within their local communities across the EFL, was presented to Liam by our Head of Community, David Busst.

A thoroughly deserved honour for a player whose commitment and engagement continues to make a real difference within the community 🩵

SCHOOLS | Celebration Day at Wheelwright Lane Primary School & Nursery 🎉

Our partner school marked Coventry City FC’s promotion with a special celebration day, bringing pupils and staff together to celebrate a city-wide achievement, complete with ice creams all round 🍦👏

USW Degree Programme | Student Experience Day ⚽🎓

Earlier this week we were delighted to welcome our new students joining us this September for our University of South Wales degree programme, as part of a fantastic Student Experience Day here at the Coventry Building Society Arena

The day gave students the chance to meet our current cohort, connect with key staff, and gain an insight into life on the programme. Managers from across our departments spoke about their areas of work and the programmes they are responsible for, helping students understand the wide range of opportunities available within the club and community setting.

Students also heard from Dave Busst, our Head of Community, before receiving a full breakdown of the course from Matthew Barr, the programme lead.

To top it off, everyone enjoyed a stadium tour, giving a behind-the-scenes look at our home and learning environment.

We’re really excited to see this next group begin their journey with us in September 👏
