Meet Alex, a Therapy Assistant who has been working in our Wisdem Centre since 2017 💙

Alex started his journey at UHCW as part of our Supported Internship programme, which supports people on the SEND spectrum navigate their way into the working world with confidence and accessibility.

There's always gonna be another mountain... but booking your cervical screening shouldn't be one of them. 💜

If you’ll be spending tonight watching the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special, there’s a good chance you’re also at the age where you’ll be invited for your first or second cervical screening.

It might feel like a "climb," but taking five minutes for your health is one of the most important things you can do. Screening is a quick way to check for HPV and prevent cervical cancer before it has a chance to develop.
