Our Cultural Curiosity & Safety Workshops are designed to address disparities in care delivery, foster a culture of inclusion, and improve patient outcomes by exploring the relationship between individual values, biases, and behaviours. This course is relevant for all members of the maternity team including midwives, nurses, MSWs, obstetricians, anaesthetists, and professionals from the wider holistic health community. 👩‍🍼

Our amazing team from the Advanced CTG Masterclass yesterday, taking in the sights at ’s ground.

As it takes a team to care for a woman on Labour Ward, we have a midwife (Kay), obstetricians (Gabby and Tulika) and anaesthetist (Andrew) teaching on the course.

We also had a neonatologist, Chris, join us virtually between nights to talk about optimising time to improve outcomes.

And of course making it all run smoothly, we have Carol who’s part of the Baby Lifeline Training team.

What a brilliant start to the week 🤩

We are excited to announce our NEW course, taking place from October!

‘Informed Consent in Maternity Care: Putting it into practice’ explores the law on and how it applies to maternity care, with lots of opportunity to ask the experts and discuss cases.

This half-day online course is relevant for all health professionals who work in maternity and neonatal care, those that support women and birthing people in decision making, and clinical negligence lawyers.

Our brand new two-day course, 'Governance, Assurance and Improving Quality & Safety in Your Maternity Services,' is now available to book!

Our brilliant Course Directors are Sascha Wells Munro (Deputy Chief Midwifery Officer, ), James Titcombe (Patient Safety Consultant & Co-Chair of Family Voices Group), and Donna Southam (Quality, Safety and Assurance Lead Midwife at University Hospital of Morecambe Bay) 🙌

The course is relevant for midwives, obstetricians & anaesthetists who cover governance and safety.
