Didn’t warm up? That’s usually where things go wrong…

Your body needs time to get ready. It’s not just a “nice to have” - it’s what helps prevent injuries.

When you warm up:
✔ Blood flow increases
✔ Oxygen gets to your muscles
✔ Your range of motion improves

It also helps your fascia (connective tissue) go from stiff → smooth and “gliding” properly

Skip it, and you’re asking your body to go from cold → full effort…
…and that’s when strains and injuries happen.

Simple rule:
Don’t rush it. Get warm first.

But if you're just starting to train again after a dormant winter, you're probably at your highest risk of injury. Launching straight into a full-on exercise schedule without prepping your body and your kit is a sure fire way to get hurt and none of us want that!

In a nutshell:
- Start slow
- Always warm up
- Check your shoes
- Book a quick MOT (especially if you've been ignoring some wintry niggles).

The right food absolutely can turbo charge your exercise or fitness routine, there's no doubt about it BUT it does so much more too.
