Meet John!

John graduated from the London School of Massage in 2011, so he's been helping people feel more at ease in their bodies for almost 15 years! He heads up our awesome Elliott Court team and is a big muso, loving everything from cheesy pop to hardcore punk.

✨ What inspired you to become a massage therapist?

I had a lot of Sports massage when training for marathons and
became really interested in the science behind it, and wanted to
help other people achieve their goals.

✨ What type of massage do you enjoy giving the most and why?

I love all keeping injury free through maintenance massage, but
also helping people recover from injury if that does happen.

✨ What’s the most rewarding feedback you’ve received from a client?

Being told that i have changed someones life, by helping to get
them off of medication for migraines!

Myth: A bit of rest and time off will sort it.

Reality: Hmmmm....sometimes pain DOES ease with rest but if it keeps coming back, there’s usually an underlying issue that needs attention.

“Massage is only for athletes.”

Myth: You have to be training for a marathon or lifting heavy to ‘deserve’ a massage.

Reality: Not even close. You don’t need to be sporty (or even sweaty) to benefit. Massage is great for desk-related tension, iffy sleep, stress, headaches, back pain and just feeling out of sync in your body.

If you’ve got muscles (spoiler: you do), massage will help.

Our Story

Fire & Earth are the leading sports massage specialists in the West Midlands, with clinics Coventry, Hinckley and Leamington. Our dedicated team of experienced therapists provide you with both high level therapeutic and remedial massages. We also offer sports therapy and postural assessments.

Every month we help hundreds of sports and non sports clients get back to full fitness using a variety of soft tissue techniques and exercise therapy. If you are suffering with back pain, general tension or you have a sports injury our team of highly qualified therapists will aim to get you back doing what you love as soon as possible.

We know how important it is for you to be injury free, that’s why our goal is to get results quickly. Combining sports massage and personalised exercise plans means every session is bespoke and 100% focused on you.

Work related postural problems and general tension affect many of us day to day. Not dealing with it can cause a build up over time and lead to injuries, it can also stop us from sleeping well and cause general discomfort when trying to do everyday tasks. Having regular deep tissue massages can prevent many of these issues from occurring in the first place. Postural assessments will determine what's going on and how you can improve your posture.
