Colleagues at Priors Hall Care Home were delighted to receive a 10 out of 10 score in reviews posted on carehome.co.uk which described the Corby care home as ‘excellent’.

On receiving the score, Lynsey Ballard, Home Manager of Priors Hall, said:

Anchor - Primrose Court transformed its grounds into a vibrant festival venue for a day of live music dubbed ‘Primrosebury’.

The event brought the festival experience directly to the care home, with a full programme of musical acts. The free event was attended by residents, their families and people from the local community, who enjoyed drinks, ice creams, and a range of activities throughout the day including a tombola and party games.

Thankyou to everyone who came along to enjoy the day with us & what a day it was, full of smiles, sunshine, dancing, music, food & non stop laughter 💃🎶🍦🌭

Also we want to say a massive Thankyou to one of our lovey residents family who joined in with setting up a tombola and raised a huge £680 which they have kindly donated half to Godiva Lodge, how amazing! So from the team at Godiva thankyou 💜💜

We’re excited to announce that our Summer Fête, originally postponed, is now happening on Saturday, 16th August 2025!

📍 Location: Car park of Godiva Lodge and Leofric

Unfortunately, due to the forecast of thunderstorms, our Beach Themed Party at Leofric Lodge has been postponed for everyone's safety.

🎉 But don’t worry – we’ll be back!
A new date will be confirmed soon, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you then.

🎟️ Tickets already purchased will still be valid for the rescheduled event.
Early bird tickets are still available for £6, or £7 on the day (redeemable for food).

Expect music, food, games, and loads of beachy fun – just a little later than planned!

🌿 A Green Thumb at Godiva Lodge 🌿

We’re so proud to share the wonderful work of one of our residents who has a true passion for gardening. He’s been lovingly tending to a special section of our garden that we’ve set aside just for him—and the results are absolutely amazing!

He’s been dedicating his time and energy to creating a tranquil and calming space in our garden.

This gentleman shared that gardening has helped him settle in more easily, giving him a sense of purpose and keeping him busy in a way that positively supports his mental health. His passion and care are truly inspiring, and the garden is blossoming into a beautiful reflection of his efforts.

Thank you for your hard work and green thumb—you’ve truly made a difference!

We’re excited to announce that Godiva Lodge and Leofric Lodge will be hosting a Joint Summer Fête on Saturday, 19th July 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM – and we’d love for you to be part of it!

🎭 Entertainment Wanted!
We’re looking for dancers, musicians, or performers to entertain our residents and visitors. If you or someone you know would like to perform, please get in touch – we’d be thrilled to have you!

🛍️ Stallholders Welcome!
If you create handmade items or crafts and would like to run a stall, we’d love to hear from you. It’s a great opportunity to share your work with the community.

🎈 Family Fun!
We’re planning to have a bouncy castle, so feel free to bring the children along for a fun-filled afternoon!

We’re really looking forward to a fantastic day and hope you can join us.
Please get in touch if you’d like to perform or host a stall.
