Sadly passed away at the Marie Curie Hospice, Holm Towers, where he received the greatest care right to the very end.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

The last surviving child of Ronald and Gwenllian Phillips.

Passed away peacefully at his home on 24th July, aged 78. A much-loved husband, father, grandfather , great grandfather, uncle.

Pops will be eternally missed by family and friends.

The funeral service will take place at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Barry, on Tuesday 19th August at 12 noon.

Bunty Kent

A dearly loved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt, cousin, godmother and friend to all, passed away peacefully on Sunday, 13th July.

Bunty will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit. She touched the lives of many with her love and laughter, and she will be greatly missed.

A funeral service to celebrate Bunty’s life will be held at St James Church, Wick, on Thursday, 31st July, at 12 noon.

Obituary for Roger Morris

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roger Morris, who left us peacefully on February 19, 2025, at the age of 90. A beloved father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Roger touched the lives of many with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit.

Roger lived a life rich with experiences and stories. He cherished his family above all else, finding joy in every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. His love and guidance will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Roger was not only a devoted family man but also a loyal friend. His laughter and wisdom inspired all who crossed his path. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, leaving a lasting impact on his community.

A funeral and memorial service to celebrate Roger's remarkable life will be held at Holy Cross Church, Cowbridge, on Friday, March 28th, at 2:30 PM. All are welcome to join us in honoring the legacy of a truly extraordinary man.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to British Heart Foundation & Alzheimer’s UK in Roger's memory. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Rosalyn Olivia Davies

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosalyn Olivia Davies, who left us peacefully on January 23, 2025, at the age of 60.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at Llanblethian Church on Thursday 27th February at 10:30 AM, followed by a burial in the churchyard.
In celebration of Rosalyn's vibrant spirit, the family requests that attendees wear something purple, a color she adored and that symbolizes her joyful personality.

Rest in peace, dear Rosalyn. You will be missed more than words can express.

Obituary Notice

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David George Thomas, aged 80 years, on 26th January 2025 at his home in Slade Close, Cowbridge.

David was the beloved husband of Jennifer, cherished father to Rachel and Emma, and a proud and devoted Grandad to Owen, Leah, Nimue, Osian, and Kian. He will be greatly missed by all his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The funeral service will take place at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Barry, on Friday 28th February at 2pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate David’s life. It would be appreciated if something blue could be worn in memory of David.

Family flowers only, but donations in David’s memory may be made to National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society.

David’s warmth, kindness, and gentle nature will remain in the hearts of his loved ones forever.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Rich, aged 60.
Denise was a loving wife to Tim and an adored mother to Matt and Hannah. She took immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Freddie, who brought her endless happiness. Denise's warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate Denise's life will be held at St. Cadoc Catholic Church in Cowbridge on Wednesday, 29th January at 2pm, followed by a committal service at Coychurch Crematorium.

The family warmly invites all who knew Denise to join them at the Bear Hotel after the service for refreshments and to share fond memories of her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made towards Lymphoma Action, c/o Carwyn Jones at Cowbridge Funeral Directors.
