Hi, welcome! 👋
I’ve had quite a few new faces join recently, so I thought I’d take a moment to say hello properly.

I’m Sophie — first and foremost, a mum to three wonderful kids and two mischievous labradors. 💛
I’m also a Consultant Pharmacist Independent Prescriber with over 20 years of NHS clinical experience and 11 years in aesthetic medicine.

I’m an eternal learner (to the frustration of those around me 😂). This year alone, I’ve completed my Level 7 Diploma in Cosmetic Medicine and I’m this close to finishing my British Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine — just one more essay to go 😵‍💫

Back in 2009, I founded Professional Wellbeing — a healthcare company designed to educate and empower people to make informed decisions about their health. Sixteen years on, that mission still drives everything I do.

For the past decade, I’ve worked closely with SaveFace, championing safety, accountability, and stronger regulation in the aesthetics industry.

My clinic ethos is simple and science-led:

The last 12 months? They’ve been… a lot:
🛠️ Bought and lovingly renovated a new clinic
🩺 Underwent a hysterectomy for suspected cancer
🏁 Launched my dream space
🏚️ Was evicted without warning
⚖️ Now rebuilding everything — again

It’s painful. It’s exhausting. But I’m not going quietly into the dark night.
This is the beginning of a new chapter — and I’d love for you to be part of it.

We just wanted to reach out to let you all know our difficult news.

Due to unforeseen and deeply unfortunate circumstances, Vale Skin has been asked to vacate our clinic premises with immediate effect.

This means that, effective immediately, all appointments in the coming weeks have to be cancelled, as we currently have no alternative location from which to operate. To those affected, cancellation emails will be sent over the next few days.

This situation has come as a complete shock and is entirely beyond our control. It has left us with a deep sense of sadness and loss, not only for our space but for the disruption it brings to the care and connection we so value with our clients.

Please know that we are working tirelessly behind the scenes to secure a new home for Vale Skin — one where we can welcome you back and continue offering the experience and treatments you know and trust.

We will be in touch as soon as we’re able to reopen our doors and reschedule appointments.

We are truly sorry for this interruption and so grateful for your continued patience, loyalty, and understanding during this incredibly challenging time.

What a transformation we’ve had with this client. Yes, microneedling has played a HUGE part in the process but we’ve also added some other treatments along the way too.

She came to us because she was unhappy with her skin and she felt the way she looked didn’t align with how she wanted to look and feel.
Her skin was irritated and inflamed, yet dry and the skin barrier was poor.
She’d also had some filler which had been incorrectly placed and was making her lips look elongated and sausage like.

It’s National Obesity Awareness Week.

Did you know that nearly one billion people in the World are now living with obesity and it’s predicted that by 2050, 50% of the population could be obese?

January brings with it the pressure to lose weight and also highlights these statistics, putting weight loss medication completely in the spotlight.

Under-eye rejuvenation 👀
No filler, just 2 treatments of Polynucleotides from .
First treatment was October 2024, second was November 2024.
The whole under-eye area is brighter (admittedly the lighting is slightly darker in the first image which is frustrating, sorry), the skin quality is so much better & healthier and the skin texture is stronger & more supple.
