Vale Equine Rehabilitation Clinic A rehabilitation clinic for horses using a combination of treatments. The clinic is open on a Thursday and Saturday.

We offer McTimoney Therapist, Hydrotherapy treadmill, Infra Red Therapy, Laser Therapy, Solarium, Equi-taping. Bethan Lloyd is a McTimoney Practitioner and rehabilitation therapist with over 20 years experience. She trained at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in 2001, and since has completed several massage, pressure release and post injury stretching/exercise courses. She has also completed training in Equi-taping which assists and releases muscles. Providing all these techniques in one means an unique service for horses. The clinic was started in 2015 to provide an equine rehab facility for the whole equine community in Wales. It is situated on a 30 acre farm, with 4 loose boxes and fenced pens, a separate block of 10 stables, manege, various sized turnout paddocks and accommodation for the owner and staff to provide 24 hour supervision. The whole site is covered by CCTV for security. The site has good transport links, as it is easily accessible to the A48 linking Cardiff and Bridgend. We are also able to offer McTimoney Therapy to dogs.

We are looking to run a clinic with Holly from Gloucestershire Equine Salt Therapy on Wednesday 6, Thursday 7 and Friday 8 August depending on numbers.

Part time hours
Every Thursday and Saturday 9.30 to 5.30
2 hours Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Duties to include
Mucking out preparing horses to go on the water treadmill, riding, trotting up horses for the vet etc..,
You must have experience handling big horses

Hey guys
I have the lovely Andrew Jones coming to the Vale Rehabilitation Clinic to run some flat work sessions. Andrew is a BD Wales Coach and has won The British Horse Society “Freelance Accredited Professional Coach 2024 Award”! 🏆👏

Andrew will be working with me to get the horses that I treat (but anyone welcome) to work correctly engaging their core and using the hind leg to work into the contact.
With regular physio and the correct schooling it'll be amazing to see how far you can go! The idea is we prevent issues before they happen! Prevention is as good as a cure!
Let's set some goals for winter!
Lessons will be once a fortnight

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Cheryl and Sparky will be joining us as one of our sponsored riders.

Cheryl and Sparky have been coming and using the treadmill on a weekly basis as part of his fitness and strengthening work and we’ve seen Sparky develop into quite the muscular athlete.

In sparky's previous home, he competed in show jumping. Cheryl is now producing him to become a dressage diva. They are now out competing at novice and building up to starting elementary this year,

They are regularly out competing and we can see great things for Cheryl and Sparky in the future. They are very excitedly looking forward to the Petplan National Championships in October.

Part 1 - KISSING SPINE Rehab
You can see the changes in the muscles over the back/top line/hind quarters. From un-ridable to ridden in 7 weeks using various techniques:-
