Patient eligibility -

Most children and young people will have their vaccine as a quick and painless nasal spray, where a fine mist is sprayed up the nose from the tip of each nostril. The nasal spray vaccine is the recommend flu vaccine for most children and young people from the age of two.

🎉Today’s flu clinic - Saturday 4th October🎉

We are happy to say we vaccinated a massive 899 patients today in our flu clinic!

We would like to thank all the patients for attending their appointment and thank you for your patience and understanding today while we ran our flu clinic, where we had longer than expected waiting times due to staff sickness.

Foodwise in Pregnancy is a course for all women who would like support with information and tips on eating well, keeping active and achieving a healthy weight gain in pregnancy.

The next course runs every Wednesday (4.30pm-6pm) from October 22 to November 19 at St David’s Hospital (Cowbridge Road East, CF11 9XB)

Paracetamol is the recommended medication for pain relief and fever during pregnancy when taken as directed.

There is currently no evidence that paracetamol use in pregnancy causes autism in children. Untreated pain or fever can pose risks to both mother and baby, so it’s important manage these symptoms.

Pregnant women should continue to follow NHS guidance:
🔹Take paracetamol only when needed
🔹Always use it in line with the instructions on the label

If you’re unsure about taking any medication during pregnancy, speak with your GP or midwife for advice.
