Please only attend the Emergency Unit if you have a life-threatening condition or a major injury. Not sure if it’s an emergency? Call NHS 111 for guidance.

For minor illnesses like sore throats, urinary tract infections or earaches, your local Community Pharmacy can offer free NHS treatment, expert advice, and prescriptions.

If you think you need the Emergency Unit and it is not life-threatening, you should continue to .

Call 111 to speak to a call handler about your symptoms and, if further assessment is needed, you will be called by a CAV 24/7 clinician. There may be a wait for a call back from 111 and our CAV 24/7 service.

Please remain patient, a clinician will call you back and help you to access the care you need in the right place, first time. 💙
