JogCowdenbeath Locally based Health & Fitness delivered by volunteers. We offer groups of different ability

The group offers support to anyone who wants to be active through walk - jog - run exercise, We meet every Monday and Wednesday from 18:45 for a 19:00 start in The Maxwell Centre, Stenhouse Street, Cowdenbeath The emphasis is on fun and participation, and all are made welcome. We cannot accept anyone under 16 years old, unless they are accompanied by a responsible adult.

There may have been some tactical queueing for the cheese scones afterwards 😆

Our new block starts tomorrow (5th Jan) meeting inside the Maxwell Centre, Stenhouse Street from 18:45. New C25K programme starting, and we have two other groups for further distances.

✨We will be having a social run on Boxing Day, meeting at Townhill Loch (at the bottom of the car park near the cafe) for 11:00.

Last night was a wrap on our final session for 2025.
I hear most of last nights runners are on Santa’s naughty list and as a punishment they need to pay double next block 😱

We were surprised with some delicious baking from Irene (banana loaf) & Roy (gingerbread cake) at the end - thank you😋

We will meet in the Maxwell Centre car park for our festive run tomorrow as the centre is closed for the holidays.

Festive outfits are encouraged, please ensure you can still be seen. You don’t want a hi viz bib covering it up 😉

There is still time to pay your deposit to Craig tonight for Wednesday.

Our C25K graduation run is on the 22nd will be a festive route in Cowdenbeath and festive outfits are encouraged 🎅🤶🎄

And a social run on Boxing Day, bring something to eat and drink afterwards ☕️ 🥤 🍫
