Yesterday at Heroic Explorers (one of our Home Ed classes), we had a T-rex-riffic time travelling back to the Jurassic period in our time machine! 🦖
We worked on our miming skills, role played as time travellers, cavemen and dinosaurs and had lots of imaginative fun along the way!

TODAY you’ll find me at the Home Ed Expo at the Riverside Centre, Newport, from opening until mid-afternoon. If you’d like to learn more about:

Well… I can’t believe we’ve already been back a week! It’s been so lovely seeing all those happy, smiley familiar faces (and some brand new ones too!) back in classes last week.

I do still have a rather impressive backlog of about two months’ worth of photos 🙈 but rather than getting even further behind, I’ll upload those when I can and do my best to keep last week’s and this week’s photos going up on time!

This morning, we welcomed some brand new faces to Little Llama Tots in Cowes for our dinosaur adventure 🦕 ...it was so lovely to meet you all!

We still have plenty of spaces available if you’d like to join us!

Well… what a whirlwind festive period it’s been! I’ve just returned from a lovely trip to Cyprus with my other half to visit his family and I’m now trying (somewhat unsuccessfully!) to get back into the swing of things.

The end of term was such a rush that I didn’t properly get the chance to say thank you for all the beautiful Christmas cards, gifts and kind words. I was especially thrilled to receive this incredible, one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn card from one of my Saturday Supernovas... full of hilarious in-jokes from that wonderful group... it absolutely made my day to receive it!

I can’t wait for 2026 to begin and to get back to seeing all those familiar (and new!) faces in class. I do have a backlog of about six weeks’ worth of photos to upload (oops!), which I’ll do my very best to start sharing this week… while also making time to enjoy being home with my partner before he goes back to work (and keeping things low-key for my birthday this Thursday).

When I was in my first year of teacher training, I was incredibly lucky to be placed with the most amazing teacher (Susannah). I learned so much from her and we got on so, so well!

She told me she was setting up a drama club at the school and asked if I’d like to help… I said “yes!” instantly, because I just knew this was exactly what I wanted to do.

She went on to set up Creative Minds Taunton (in Surbiton, initially) completely from scratch and I was so fortunate to work alongside her and learn from her. To this day, I still use some of the drama games I learned from her in my own classes.

She is - and always will be - a huge inspiration to me.

Click through the photos to see me at 19 years old (!!!!), helping out at my very first drama club. (I’m not in most of the photos because I was probably the one taking them but spot me in photo 11 + 12!)

I wanted to share this to highlight the incredible work Susannah is still doing today and to show that, if something is your passion, it’s always worth working towards, no matter how long it takes.

At 19, I had no idea that one day I’d be running my own children’s drama classes as a business. But it was inspirational women like Susannah (and others) who shaped that journey. I genuinely wouldn’t be where I am today without having had those role models in my life.

I hope, in my own small way, that I can be that kind of role model for the children who come to my classes… the future actors, comedians, teachers and business owners of the world! 💛🦙

Well… what a busy end of term it has been! 💛

Thank you all once again for your incredible support this term. I’ve now been running Llama Drama full time for over a year and it continues to feel pretty magical... I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love and I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings!

The past few days have been especially busy as we wrapped up classes. It was lovely to bring the magic of Elf School on Friday but, of course, Harriet and I were gutted that we weren’t able to go ahead with yesterday’s session. Harriet - wishing you a speedy recovery! Refunds will be sorted as soon as she’s feeling better.

Finally, I can’t thank you enough if you took the time to leave feedback or a review about Llama Drama... it makes a huge difference and means so much to me on a personal level! 💫
