✨ A little plea for help! ✨

This utterly gorgeous (but very small!) group absolutely love their Early Stellar Stars class for 4–7 year olds, held every Wednesday afternoon! 💜

To keep it running, we’d really benefit from a couple more children joining us. It’s held just a 5–10 minute walk from the centre of Newport (with parking available!). Sessions start at 3.30pm but don’t worry if you can’t make it bang on time... we always ease into things gently.

I would be so grateful if you could please share this post to your feed so that friends, family and others in the local community can see what we do (all children in the pictures have permission for their photos to be shared). If you have a connection to a school and would be happy to help by sharing flyers, adding something to a newsletter or posting on Facebook/Class Dojo, please do get in touch so I can pass them on to the school - I’d be so appreciative.

🌟 Last week, this fab bunch relished our royal theme and really got into character; today, they had an amazing time exploring the jungle and rescuing animals (and each other)! 🐒🌴

🎭 Our East Cowes Supernovas (based at Holy Cross Catholic Primary School but open to anyone aged 7–11) have had such a fantastic start to Autumn Term 2!

Last week, we tried out a brand new game called “Auction” complete with our hilarious compère/auctioneer and some very enthusiastic bidders! 💸 The group then worked in small teams to devise their own short, imaginative scenes full of creativity and laughter.

Yesterday, we brought back an old favourite - “Why Are You Late?” - and, we were all so engrossed in the different roles and hilarious scenarios, that we nearly played it for the entire session! 😂

I absolutely love how well this group works together - from one performer who was in my drama club when they were in Year 3 (when I first started teaching at the school!) and who is now in Year 6, to brand new faces who’ve joined this term and returning stars too! 🌟

If you have a 7–11 year old who loves to be creative, silly and imaginative, we’d love them to join us!

👑 Can you believe we’re already in the second week of Autumn Term 2?! I can’t!

We’ve already had two fabulous weeks of classes at Holy Cross Catholic Primary School and the creativity has been flowing! 🌟

Last week, our after school club bravely crossed the enchanted forest in our Floor is Lava-style adventure... rescuing woodland animals along the way. 🐿🍄

Then, yesterday, we stepped into the world of royalty! The children became kings, queens and members of a royal family, exploring the grand palace and using their bodies to create the king’s missing furniture! 👑✨

What an imaginative and hilarious group they are every single week!

🎭 During half term, we had one of our best ever Llama Drama workshops... and I just had to share how incredible this group were!

Together, they devised and performed their very own original piece: “Barry Trotter and the Goblet of Tea” ☕🪄 and it was absolutely brilliant! The creativity, teamwork and imagination they showed blew me away. Everything came from them - it was entirely their own work -and they barely needed any input from me at all!

I feel so privileged to work with this talented bunch, who also make up our regular Saturday morning Supernovas group in Cowes. I can’t wait to see what future sessions bring!

✨ Did you join us for our fabulous Magic School collaboration with Bonny Babies during half term? ✨

It was so lovely to see some familiar faces from my classes - past and present -including a few wonderful families I hadn’t seen in a while (I managed to take lots of pictures of them - was so great to see them!)! Everyone had so much fun taking part in our magical Llama Drama adventure... thank you to all who came along! 💜

Our Saturday Supernovas at Cowes Combined Services & Social Club never fail to make me laugh... they are such a hilarious, creative and talented bunch! 🤩 Their comedic timing is spot on and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if a few of them became comedians or comic actors in the future! 🎭😂

We had some absolutely brilliant devised scenes and even a K-Pop Demon Hunters-themed “Murder Mansion” game that had everyone in stitches! 💀🎶

Our Ryde Supernovas group (based at St Marys Catholic Primary School but open to anyone!) may be small but they are absolutely fabulous! 💫 They love devising scenes, using their imagination and getting creative with all sorts of props... pumpkins, scarves and cauldrons included! 🎭🎃

This is such a lovely, friendly group that’s starting to grow but we’d love to welcome a few more faces! If your child is aged 7–11 and enjoys being imaginative, playful and part of a warm, welcoming drama group, this could be perfect for them!

Some photos from classes before and during half term! 📸✨

The last two sessions of last term for our St Marys Catholic Primary School After School Club were truly magical... one filled with witches, wizards and spell-casting fun, and another full of fantastic teamwork and imagination! 🪄🌟

Then, in the last week, the children showed brilliant collaboration and creativity as they crossed the enchanted forest to rescue woodland animals… all without stepping on the acorn-covered forest floor (a bit like The Floor is Lava!) 🍄🐿️

This class is perfect for 4–7 year olds and takes place at 1st Newport Scouts (just behind Nine Acres Primary) every Wednesday at 3.30pm. You don’t have to get there bang on 3.30pm - we ease into the session so your child won’t miss much if you arrive a few minutes late.
