🌟 Hi everyone! 🌟

It’s been a while since I posted here… not because Llama Drama stopped (classes have still been running!) but because I took a little step back from social media in my personal life and the business page naturally went quiet too. Sometimes we all need to take a breather to look after ourselves and I’m really grateful to everyone who’s still been showing up, supporting the sessions and cheering us on behind the scenes! 💛

We’ve been winding down a bit as the academic year comes to an end and classes have been a little quieter lately. However, the children who’ve been coming have brought so much energy and creativity to each session and I couldn’t be more proud of them! 🦙✨

As summer approaches, I’m starting to plan for September with some fresh, exciting sessions to help Llama Drama grow again and I’d love to hear your thoughts to help me shape what comes next!

☀️ This summer we’ve already got three drama sessions confirmed for 7–12 year olds in Cowes but I’d love to know:
👉 Would you like to see other sessions during the holidays?
👉 For which age groups?
👉 In which areas/venues?

Most interest so far has come from Cowes, East Cowes, Newport & Ryde so if you’re in one of those areas (or nearby!) please do let me know what would work best for you and your family.

Hope you all had a lovely half term! 💛

I’m currently on my way to a little city break in Amsterdam (hello canals, stroopwafels and slightly too much walking!🚶‍♀️😂) and will be back from my holiday on 7th June. All Llama Drama classes will start back next week (except for Home Ed - please see emails regarding this class if it affects you).

I’ve had a flight cancellation (boo! ✈️😩) but I’ve put the unexpected extra time to good use and sent out all new term booking emails today!

Please book in as soon as you can to avoid disappointment - some classes are already filling up fast!

Today marks our final Little Llama Tots session in Ryde and I’m gutted to say goodbye to this lovely little group! 😢

It’s been such a joy going on adventures with them over the past six months - we’ve bounced like bunnies, investigated like explorers, splashed through puddles and imagined our way through all sorts of magical places.

While this particular class hasn’t, unfortunately, grown in the way I’d hoped, I’m really excited to be heading into new spaces next term - including visits to Haylands Pre-School and a return to the brilliant Little Acres! I absolutely love bringing our Little Llama Explorers sessions into nurseries! 🥰

If you own, run, work at or have a child attending a preschool or nursery (especially in the Cowes, East Cowes or Newport areas), I’d love to chat!
We have availability from September for regular drama adventures in your setting.

A little Llama Drama update! 🦙

I just wanted to say a big thank you to those who messaged with kind words after I had to cancel my Home Ed class yesterday due to low numbers. As many of you know, I’m working hard to grow Llama Drama into a sustainable business and I can only continue doing that with your support. Every booking, kind comment and share really does help and makes a huge difference! ☺️

Over the next week or so, I’ll be posting about each of the different classes I run. If you know anyone who might be interested in any of them, I would be so grateful if you could please share and pass the info on to them! 🥰

Today’s post is an exciting one!

Thanks to our regular Saturday morning families snapping up spots through priority booking, our May half term Llama Drama Camp is already half full! That means there are only limited spaces left for next Tuesday, so don’t miss out!

Hello! It’s been a while…

I meant to post at the beginning of term but (as usual!) time got away from me and I’ve been so caught up in the fun of running classes that I’ve barely taken any photos.

Here’s a quick update on what’s happening at Llama Drama:
• Sadly, Little Llama Tots in Ryde will be coming to an end at the end of this term. It’s such a shame - the few families who attend are gutted and I’ve had some lovely messages and photos shared by parents (which I will try and post soon!). I’ll miss this sweet little group!
• Supernovas (ages 8–12 or age 7 if confident) – We still have spaces available in all of our Supernovas classes except for Saturday mornings in Cowes which are currently full with a waiting list in operation. We run these sessions in East Cowes, Newport and Ryde and we’ve welcomed some brilliant new pupils recently - we’d love even more new faces! Here are a few pics from our Newport group.
• For toddlers and preschoolers, the only public class from next term will be Monday mornings in Cowes. I’ve really been loving our nursery and preschool sessions though so if you’re a setting and would like to hear more, please do get in touch - I’d love to bring the drama to you!
• Home Ed families - our Tuesday sessions are still running and we have space if you’d like to join.
• And, finally… I’m diversifying a little! With my primary teaching background, I’m now starting to offer tutoring for primary children and KS3 students. If that’s something you or someone you know might be interested in, feel free to message me for details.

As a small, island-based and local business established and run by just me, thanks as always for your continued support - I’ll try not to leave it quite so long before the next update!

Please Help Us Spread the Word – Broadlea Llama Drama Needs You!

Does your child attend Broadlea Primary School? Or do you have friends or family with children there? If so, they might love our Llama Drama after school clubs – we really need your help to keep them running!

We’re offering all 4 sessions this half term for just £14 but numbers are currently very low and the classes are sadly at risk of closing. It would be such a shame for the lovely children who are already signed up and for others who would love to come but may miss the chance if the sessions have to stop.

Here’s what one parent said about their child who attends: “(he) loves the classes!”

And in the words of one of our fabulous young drama llamas:
“I love the classes because the teacher makes the children feel happy and makes the classes very fun.”

Tuesdays – Early Stellar Stars
For children in Years R–3 (approx. ages 4–8)
3-4pm at Broadlea Primary School

Tuesdays – Supernovas
For children in Years 4–6 or beyond (approx. ages 7–11+)
4.15-5.30pm at Broadlea Primary School (you do not need to be a pupil to attend)

Cost: Just £14 for the full half term (4 sessions)
