Special delivery today by wonderful Chris Keane , carpentry teacher Activate Learning earning earning Blackbird Leys, who used his free time to load and unload these wonderful planters and raised beds build by students under Sam Ashley-Morgan leadership. Thank you both wonderful humans for all the support you've offered so far! OK...so I used to never enjoy taking my kid to the pool cause I'd get bored and cold.

Well thankfully I've discovered I can now do my pilates in the water ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ dont imagine any acrobatics, pike or other funny postures...mostly leg raising, Plank with various modifications, hip Bridge, pushups...pretty cool! Keep in mind we go to the small pools...wouldn't be able in the deeper ones obviously ..but if you're like me and you have a toddler who loves water but you kinda don't...try this! Honestly I find it so beneficial and I actually enjoy being there with my kid...

Saturday lateeee lunch....so we has a busy first part of the day today despite having a sock toddler we still managed to have some fun! Had my v late lunch 1h ago and if you never had mushrooms on toast, id advise you to try! Easy, quick qnd nutritious!

Fry some onion, garlic in olive oil , then add mushrooms , salt pepper and fry a little longer until ready. Toast some sourdough and spoon your mushrooms on. Drizzle some balsamic sauce on it and parsley. Enjoy is delish!

Reaching out to our local councillors for support for our mommy fitness project, pleased to say communication has been smooth and it feels nice to be heard and acknowledged. When we all share the same goal - to positively impact our community by offering local, affordable and accesibile services with the purpose of addressing and improving our well-being whether physical, mental...and our mommy community really needs more social activities alongside physical activity we already run and plan to continue.
It's exciting, let's all hope and pray funds will come soon so that we can organise well-being days our, socials and various activities!

It's fridy you're supposed to be at work but instead been up since 5am with a sick child...so 6am inspiration hits you and decide to make carrot muffins because 2 coffees can do that to you๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… mind you I've done a good job! My child ate 2 and I can't seem to stop eating them either ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Very easy to make, I didn't really measure flour but I'd say a batter ish consistency.

Recipe : 2 eggs, 2 grated carrots, i used honey (3 tbps) or more depends on how sweey you want them , but can use maple syrup, I'd say 1cup 1/2 self raising flour, vanilla essence, I added half cup soured cream can use green yougurt, some vegetables oil (2-3tbsp) . Mix all up, add walnuts if desired. Spoon I'm muffin tray and bake until golden or ready. Enjoy without guilt ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜

HEY MOMMAS! I was discussing with few of the mommas attending our sessions about muscle pain(DOMS) and how so many of us stop exercising after experiencing that muscle pain which challenges us when going up down the stairs, getting up from a chair, toilet ๐Ÿ˜… carrying our kids cause arm muscle hurts etc...

I totally get it, especially if you're new to exercising this pain is not fun nor does it make sense! But the good news is that MUSCLE PAIN IS NOT TO BE SCARED OF, MUSCLE pain shows up when your muscles are being exposed to new movements and force which they're not used to. Muscle pain after 1 or 2 days of exercising means you're doing something right and that your body is getting stronger. Of course its important to know the difference from muscle pain and joint or back pain, bones pain, so knowing your body and your limits and how body reacts is very imp. But please don't stop exercising if you experience muscle soreness, rather take some rest,adress the soreness and then get back into it!

Bolognese on sourdough toast because spaghetti ๐Ÿ is overrated ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… I love spicy ๐Ÿ˜‹ food so I added ๐ŸŒถ flakes ๐ŸŒถ powder paprika and grated ๐Ÿง€. Plenty of parsley because I really love it!

Quick nutritious and in carbs just right for dinner meal!
