"Mura mbeadh na scamaill ní bheadh aon taitneamh sa Ghrian"
An Irish seanfhocal that means if it weren't for the clouds we wouldn't enjoy the rain. It expresses the duality of life, we have joy & sadness, success & failure, pain & ease. They are all part of our human experience, they are all temporary and can change in the blink of an eye. Something that feels burdensome today will ease with a brighter & lighter experience. 🙏🏽

Winter’s hush makes you listen a little closer. ❄️

In a landscape of grey and brown bare branches, I found this: a beautiful bright pulse of red, a bush covered in red berries. A reminder that even in the stillness, nature is busy providing—holding out a feast for the birds while the rest of the world sleeps.

Finding the quiet, and the life that thrives right in the middle of it. 🍎✨

❓Is your body calling out for movement to loosen the aches, pains & stiffness? Does your mind want stillness & inner peace? Should you try yoga? 🧘🏽‍♀️

🧘🏽‍♀️Yoga & meditation provide space to allow your self-awareness to grow; to nudge your nervous system to move into a more regulated state, allowing your body & mind to soften and strengthen.

🟣 This Bayhall class is quite slow & mindful with a focus on gentle strengthening & flexibility. There is a 10 minute meditation at the end and we will practice functional breathwork (Bring a warm blanket to keep cosy)😍.

🟣 Suitable for beginners 🟣

📍The Bayshore Sports & Social Club
🕐 Tuesday, 7.30-8.30pm
📅 Jan 13, 20, 27, Feb 3, 10, 17.

Let me know if you'd like to join us.

Share with your friend that would love this yoga class.

"Níl lá dá fhad nach dtagann an oíche"

No matter how long the day is the night will arrive.

A lovely Irish seanfhocal, a reminder that what may feel overwhelming and too much right now will soon feel smaller and less important with time. This too shall pass.

It's still Winter.
❄️ I never feel that January 1st is a good time to make big promises for a New Year. I'm only now finding space to reflect on the past year.

🍂Nature is still hibernating, still waiting before it blossoms back, using this space in time to be in stillness.

I love goal-setting and planning and following paths that build a future. This will all wait until the sun rises a little earlier and its bright yellow energy lifts me again. 🌞

I prefer to wait until later in January to build new habits or new goals. There are too many beautiful slow moments in winter to distract from New Year Resolutions.

Follow a path that calls you, with intentions and timelines that reflect how you want to show up each day.

"🙏🏽 I pray this winter to be gentle and kind - a season of rest from the wheels of the mind" - John Geddes.

🙏🏽Beannachtaí na Nollag oraibh 🙏🏽
– go dtuga sí suaimhneas, solas agus dóchas don bhliain atá romhainn.

🎄Tá mé ag dúil go mór leis an am speisialta seo - teaghlaigh ag teacht le chéile arís, béilte móra blasta, bronntanais agus an craic.🎁

✨ Tar éis bhrú na n-ullmhúchán Nollag, bíonn deis scíth a ligint agus sult agus suaimhneas a bhaint as an Nollaig. -Imíonn an tuirse is fanann an tairbhe.

🥰 Guím sonas ar gach duine a thugann tacaíocht dom. Is ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine.

🌬️ A huge thank you to everyone who joined the Breathwork & Meditation workshop! The energy was truly special, and I’m so grateful we shared that time dedicated to nurturing ourselves. 🙏

Keep up the practice! Remember that functional, slow breathing helps us:
🧘‍♀️ Calm the nervous system
🧠 Boost focus
😴 Improve sleep quality

Most importantly: Prioritize your self-care. It’s a necessity, not a luxury. Put your oxygen mask on first—you can't pour from an empty cup! 💧 Boundaries are self-respect; self-compassion is key.

Thank you for showing up for yourself.

With warmth and gratitude,
Róisín 🌸
