🌟NEW Heroes Plus Group in Banbridge 🌟

Are you the parent/guardian of a teenager with an intellectual/learning disability and/or additional needs? Are you looking for a youth group where they can make new friends and socialise in safe, supervised settings?

We’re bringing our community peace building project Heroes PLUS to Banbridge and we can’t wait! We are currently looking for young people, aged between 14-17 years old, to sign up!

The group will meet once a week on Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm-9:30pm at the J29 Project, Banbridge. The first meet-up will on Wednesday, 8th October.

Examples of previous Heroes Plus trips & meaningful activities include: inclusive cycling and watersports activities at Craigavon Lakes, tours of Belfast landmarks and learning first aid. 🌊🚲

Craigavon, Lurgan & Portadown - The fonaCAB Community Fund is Now Open!

After the success of our Community Fund with our launch in Newtownabbey, we are now welcoming requests for sponsorship and donations from the Craigavon, Lurgan and Portadown Areas – specifically BT62 – BT67

You’ll know our name from sponsorship of The Belfast Giants, The North West 200 and the Northern Ireland Men’s and Women’s football teams, but we’ve also been proud to support hundreds of local football (Most recently Glenavon FC) and Gaelic teams, motorbike riders, boxers, athletes and many more across Northern Ireland
What you might not know is that as part of our community outreach, we’ve been equally proud to contribute to local foodbanks, charities, community groups and neighbourhood development initiatives

If you’re trying to raise funds for a cause of your own, we want to hear from you. It could be a new kit for your local kids’ football team, a Christmas dinner for a pensioner’s club or fundraising for improving facilities for children with disabilities - we’re delighted to consider them all

Starting now and for the next twelve months, we’re awarding a grant of up to £500 for an idea nominated by you.
