I'm confessing this morning about my bad week last week. Felt particularly low with some things going wrong, and I don't even have the car to blame for it anymore!!!!

So this week has been about picking myself up and doing some positive things for me.

Today was meant to be a team building day.....for me, it was about facing my fears 😨

That first step off the platform was the hardest! After that, the wee 'swing/slide' was great 😅

Could you tell how much I was holding onto the post behind me on the platform 🙈

Anyway, I survived.....tomorrow is another day.

After 'encouraging' myself to go for a run this morning, not just to get cider and chips...... 😇, I decided my poor, tired body needed some chill out time this evening 😌

It has been a very busy weekend, between catching up with family and friends, to lots of cycling and running training.

I'm now incredibly tired, so I'm taking the time to chill on a beautiful evening and catch up on a bit of knitting (while working on my double chin 😅)

I was out last night learning a new craft at Belfast Art House - UV resin earrings.

I have to say it was very much a way of being mindful and absorbing myself in an activity. The perfect way to chill out after a long day working at the hospital!

Everyone might be getting UV resin earrings as presents this year 😅

Good morning!!!

This is an important message for a Tuesday morning, but I felt it had to be shared.

I don't like to see anyone in pain either physically or emotionally, and I will always try my best to help. So after having a few 'SOS' messages over the last few weeks, I wanted to remind you that if you feel you have no one to go to, then at the very least, please get in touch with me. My therapy room is confidential, except if I feel there is an immediate risk to you or someone else, then my duty of care is to report further.

I can provide a safe space, somewhere you can talk, have some time out, and have some therapies. Even the L'il Lady can help provide some distraction 🐾

Life can get so busy, but I will do my utmost to provide time for you.

I am not a Mental Health specialist, I have limitations in what I can do, and will help to signpost further if required.

Hello Thursday!

I was feeling a bit drained this morning. Pushed hard on my run last night, and my watch told me I was unproductive 🙃 This means I am not watching my rest, nutrition, and stress management enough. So interestingly, this morning, I decided to pick a random 'Sole Empowerment' card, and this is what I got!

It is so hard to strike a balance in our lives, but do remember to look after yourself and your body! It's the only home you have to live in 😊
