I have been a bit quiet on here lately. Just giving myself some space and time to feel a bit better.
Sometimes, it's good to disconnect and allow for a bit of a reset.
New 'resolutions' that I had started in January and struggled with, I'm letting myself start again now it's February.
One big thing I noticed, as I tracked my goals, was that I had let my self-care slip, and with that, my mood had spiralled downwards.
So this month, I have set myself some self-care goals. Simple little things to help me keep on top of my mental health.
Today, for example, I'd a lovely walk in the park with the L'il Lady, and later I'm meeting a special friend for coffee.
Yesterday, I spent time in nature.
I've allowed myself time to get creative in my journal, and with my crochet hook!
Remember how important you are! You need to allow yourself time to recharge your own battery and show yourself how much you care π
