Silver Lining- House of Well-being was established in 2016 by Grainne Woods Kearney. I decided to use the term Silver Lining to emphasise the hopeful side of a situation that might seem gloomy on the surface. The common expression "every cloud has a Silver Lining" means that even the worst events or situations have some positive aspect.
I offer individual, corporate & community groups a range of services and interventions aimed at assisting both adults and children with mental & physical health advice.
Life can be difficult for us all at times, so I offer groups & families a range of services tailored to their individual needs.
Parents may feel they need assistance with what direction to go for themselves and the strategies to use with their children.
Our range of services focus on:-
Teaching mindfulness techniques through the use of art and crafts, play, movement, dance, drama, games, stretching exercises, breathing exercises, positive affirmation, and relaxation techniques which are a key step towards positive mental health, self-esteem and emotional resilience.

Techniques Used:
Recording Thoughts- Using this technique inspired by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, learn to identify unhelpful thoughts so that when they come up, it’s easier to recognise them for what they are and move on.
Mindfulness- Practice being more present in the moment for improved focus and calm, even on hectic days.
Meditation- Observe your thoughts and feelings without judgement to understand where they’re coming from and feel calmer, too.
Spotting the good-Learn to pay more attention what you do well and get better results than when you focus on your weak points with activities based on positive psychology.
Mindful Moves- Is a form of Dance, Tai Chi and Meditation session all combined to deal with physical, mental and emotional resilience which helps to straighten the immune system and helps to keep your mind, body, heart and soul healthy.
Chi Me Time- Is a simile form of Tia Chi which is a meditative movement performed in graceful, slow motion with smooth, seamless transitions. The focus of the movement is to encourage the circulation of chi within the body, thus enhancing health, vitality and longevity.
