๐Ÿฅฐ Thank you for these lovely comments Steph - we agree that Paige is a superstar โœจโœจโœจโœจ

I would love to send a huge thank you to the team who supported my labour on 10.12.25 when we welcomed my gorgeous son, Justin to the world. The biggest thanks has to be to my midwife, Paige. I have never met anyone so caring and personable in the healthcare setting. She is an absolute diamond and my experience was made better with her by my side. Paige is a credit to the midwifery team and for whatever reason it may be, i hope our paths cross again! X

Can you help with a new national research study which aims to improve care for women who have suffered a pregnancy loss?

Details here ๐Ÿ‘‡

In the past two years, have you experienced a pregnancy loss that happened before the 24th week of pregnancy?

If so, you are invited to take an online survey to share your experiences of loss, with a focus on the support available and your views on how this could be improved. The information you share will be used to design a programme of group support for people who experience mental health difficulties following a pregnancy loss before the 24th week of pregnancy.

โค๏ธ Thank you Laura for sharing these lovely comments, huge congratulations from all of us here ๐Ÿฅฐ

"We could not recommend our maternity experience enough at this hospital, it is all we have raved about since we got home with our gorgeous boy! From the minute we arrived for our planned c-section, we were made to feel right at home and nothing was an inconvenience.

Baby boy was also a little bit poorly a couple of days into our stay and was transferred to SCBU for the night - we were constantly checked on to make sure we were okay from staff on both wards, everyone made such a worrying time feel so relaxed and calm. Staff consistently did his obs, checked for signs and symptoms and kept us in the loop with absolutely everything. I personally have never received such brilliant and vigilant healthcare in a hospital before.

There are far too many amazing staff to mention on here, every single person went above and beyond their role on both wards to ensure we were all safe, healthy and happy.

Thank you so much for everything, you made a trickier time much more bearable" ๐Ÿฅฐ

๐Ÿ‘ฃ Feeling your baby move is a sign that they are well

๐Ÿ‘ถ Most women start to feel their baby move between 16 and 24 weeks of pregnancy.

๐Ÿ‘ฃThere is no set number of normal movements.
๐Ÿ‘ฃEvery baby is different.
๐Ÿ‘ฃFrom 16โ€“24 weeks on you should feel your baby move more and more up until 32 weeks.
๐Ÿ‘ฃFrom then, movements should stay roughly the same until you give birth and during labour too.

โš ๏ธ If you have any concerns, call Pregnancy Assessment on 0191 6072815. Do not wait until the next day to get checked. We are here 24 hours, every day.
