On the lovely sunny days we've been having recently, I catch myself thinking, 'Wouldn't it be great if the UK were like this all the time?' β˜€οΈ

But, after a moment, I realised that without the rainy days and the gloomy days where it never seems to get light, I wouldn't appreciate the sunny days when they are here.

The same goes for happiness and life's ups and downs. If we were really happy all the time, we risk not appreciating happiness!

If you start biting your nails when you feel stressed or anxious, you aren't alone. Up to 30% of the population struggles with onychophagia to some degree - for many of those, it is a subconscious habit, often biting with no awareness of doing it!

Frequent nail biting can lead to damaged nails, infections, dental issues, and severe pain. Is it even a form of self-harm?

Sometimes, nail biting can be a sign of a deeper issue. Together, we can get to the root of the problem and put a stop to nail-biting. πŸ’œ

Today is World Health Day.

When we think of health, perhaps we automatically assume physical health.

I wanted to remind you that your mental health is just as important as your physical health, and if you are struggling, you deserve just as much help.

There's also a strong link between physical health, chronic pain, and mental health. Studies have shown that the relationship between depression and pain is bidirectional, meaning chronic pain can increase the risk of developing depression, and depression can, in turn, increase the likelihood of chronic pain.

I don't know about you, but the Easter bank holiday always feels like the first glimpse of Summer! ✈️

Do you have any travel plans this summer? If a fear of flying puts a dampener on your holiday or even puts you off going entirely, I can help.

Aerophobia is one of the most common phobias in its own way, but it can also be an extension of another phobia, such as claustrophobia (fear of small spaces) or emetophobia (fear of vomit).

I have worked with many clients over the years who have been afraid of flying - for most of them, we have overcome this fear in a single 90-minute session!
