Listening to our bodies and being gentle with ourselves, on and off the mat, is so important. šŸ’šTake care of your beautiful selves-body and soul. šŸ™

When something feels off in a pose, the instinct is often to push through or adjust randomly.

But the body is usually being specific.

Knee pressure is asking for less load.
Wrists are asking for support.
The low back is asking for different distribution.
The neck is asking for less strain.

Small changes can shift a pose from something you endure to something that actually supports you.

That's where practice becomes more precise.

WELCOME MAY!🌸

Let's step into this month with a calm mind and an open heart…a new month, new chapter and new intentions.
May this month bring us courage to face what we’ve been avoiding,
strength to keep going when it gets hard, confidence to trust ourselves,
patience to grow at our own pace,
self-love to treat ourselves with kindness and a strong sense of inner peace. Let May bring renewed hope,
bring moments of happiness,
warm us with sunshine,
and energise our spirits to move forward. Let there be joy in the little things, fun in the ordinary moments,
and laughter that lightens our hearts.šŸ™

The first of the two Full Moons in May 2026 arrives on the 1st, in the sign of Scorpio. This is also the date of Beltane, an ancient Celtic fire festival. The festival’s symbolic bonfires mark a transition, a new phase.
Scorpio energy can feel intense; it wants to go deeper in order to understand, transform and move on something stronger and new. We might feel more strongly that change is good and we don’t have to stay the same.
Veils are lifted in relationships and in ourselves. Intuition is sharper and sensitivity is heightened. We are invited to contemplate deeply where we have given up our power? And what should we release in order to regain it?
We may feel torn between the tangible, the sensual, the safe and a hunger for change. There is tension between constancy and transformation.
We may feel a greater need for connection with others. It’s a good time for an honest conversation that has perhaps been put off for too long.
The communication may hurt but ultimately heals. It’s about telling the truth now, even if it feels uncomfortable.
This is not a cosy comforting Full Moon, the sting in its tail is demanding and probing. However, the pressure will ease. We should avoid impulsive decisions, during this time of intense emotions. Pausing for a day or two will be wise. Full Moons are not a starting signal, like the New Moon, they are a conclusion. These mantras may be helpful:
* "I release what no longer serves me. I choose peace."
* "I honour my feelings and trust my inner wisdom."
* "I am allowed to grow. I am allowed to expand. I am allowed to thrive."

Your feelings are not simple…
they’re layered, blended, and deeply human.

Every emotion you feel is often a mix of two forces—
and understanding that can change everything.

šŸ”¹ Bittersweet (Joy + Sadness)
You can smile and still feel a quiet ache.
Some moments are beautiful because they don’t last.

šŸ”¹ Anticipation (Anxiety + Excitement)
That nervous energy before something big?
It’s fear and excitement wearing the same face.

šŸ”¹ Assertiveness (Anger + Compassion)
Healthy anger protects what you care about.
It’s not rage—it’s love with boundaries.

šŸ”¹ Caution (Fear + Curiosity)
Fear doesn’t always mean ā€œstop.ā€
Sometimes it means pay attention and move wisely.

šŸ”¹ Realization (Confusion + Clarity)
Growth feels messy before it makes sense.
Clarity is often born from chaos.

šŸ”¹ Determination (Hope + Doubt)
You move forward not because you’re certain…
but because hope is stronger than doubt.

—

šŸ”¹ Skepticism (Trust + Letdown)
You’ve learned from disappointment.
Now you trust—but with awareness.

šŸ”¹ Grief (Love + Loss)
You don’t grieve what didn’t matter.
Pain is proof that something was deeply meaningful.

šŸ”¹ Balance (Pride + Humility)
Know your worth…
but never lose your grounding.

šŸ”¹ Redemption (Guilt + Forgiveness)
You acknowledge your past—
but you don’t stay trapped in it.

šŸ”¹ Burnout (Ambition + Fatigue)
You wanted more… pushed harder…
until your body said, ā€œenough.ā€

šŸ”¹ Courage (Confidence + Vulnerability)
True strength isn’t fearlessness—
it’s showing up even when you feel exposed.

—

šŸ”¹ Contentment (Gratitude + Envy)
You can appreciate what you have
and still desire more—without losing peace.

šŸ”¹ Resilience (Peace + Uncertainty)
Calm doesn’t come from knowing everything…
it comes from trusting yourself through the unknown.

šŸ”¹ Excitement (Joy + Fear)
Every leap forward carries risk—
and that’s what makes it alive.

—

✨ Truth:
You are not ā€œtoo emotional.ā€
You are complex.

And your emotions are not problems to fix—
they are signals to understand.

The moment you stop fighting your feelings…
you start learning from them.

That’s where real self-awareness begins.

Calm your breath, clear your mind.

Udaan Vayu Mudra is a simple hand gesture that supports calm breathing and better focus.
Practice it for a few minutes daily to feel more relaxed and centered.
Listen to your body and keep it gentle.
