Mother’s Day can bring many emotions — love, gratitude, memories, and reflection.

With spring gently arriving around the grounds, today feels a little softer and full of reflection.
On this Mother’s Day, we are thinking of everyone who may be celebrating, remembering, or quietly missing their mum.

We remember all the wonderful mums and mother figures who remain forever in our hearts. Their love continues to shape the lives they touched.

Pop into our office and collect your Easter colouring page.

Option 2:

Like our page and share this post.

DM us your child’s name, age, which numbered template you would like, and an email address to receive your free Easter egg template.

Let your child colour the template, then send it back to us by Monday 6th April 2026.

🏆 The lucky winner will be announced on Friday 10th April 2026.

T&Cs:
• Open to children aged 12 years and under.

Today, on International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the incredible women who work here and across all our crematoria within CMG.

From the care they show every day to the strength, compassion and dedication they bring to their roles, these women make a real and lasting difference. We also honour the women, past and present, whose resilience and commitment have helped shape who we are today.

🐣 Our Easter Egg Appeal is now running! 🐣

Last year we received a whopping 112 Easter eggs – can we beat that this year?

In 2026, we are proud to be supporting Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice.

The eggs donated will go to the children and their siblings, helping to bring a little extra joy this Easter.

We understand that not all children can eat chocolate, so Chestnut Tree House also has an Amazon Wishlist if you would prefer to donate an alternative gift.

If you would like to donate Easter eggs, please drop them off at the crematorium office, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.

Today we say goodbye to our wonderful admin, Jemma.

Over the past three years, Jemma has become an integral part of the Crematorium team. Her support, kindness and sense of humour have made a real difference to all of us.

Jem is now heading off to start an exciting new venture as a childminder — and we’re still deciding whether she’s incredibly brave or slightly crazy for choosing to work with children every day!

While we’re sad to lose such a great colleague, we’re grateful to have gained an amazing friend.

We will miss you, Jemma, and wish you every success and happiness with your new business 💙🩷
