This is such a lovely gesture 😍💐

A huge thank you to the Boulevard Florists for spreading a little kindness and brightening people’s day. ☺️

I am sure these beautiful bouquets will get snapped up quickly. Anyone wishing to take a bunch can find them opposite St Richards Chapel.

Sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most 💖

Today marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

Grief can change everything. It can affect how we think, sleep, work, socialise and cope with everyday life. No two people experience it in the same way. Some people talk openly about how they’re feeling. Others carry it quietly. Some feel supported, while others can feel incredibly alone, even when surrounded by people.

One thing that matters so much during those difficult moments is knowing there is someone to turn to. Whether that’s a friend, a family member, or a professional support service, having someone listen without judgement can make the weight of grief feel a little less heavy.

Please share this post and if you know someone who may be struggling, send them these details. A simple conversation or connection could make all the difference 💚

As part of ongoing efforts to open up conversations around dying, death and bereavement, grief education is being introduced into the Relationships, S*x and Health Education (RSHE) curriculum in England from September 2026.

It’s a positive step towards helping young people better understand and navigate feelings around loss, change and bereavement.

By building awareness from an early age, we can help normalise these discussions, reduce stigma, and give future generations the confidence to express and manage their emotions.

As we continue marking alongside Hospice UK, it’s a reminder that talking about grief, at any age, can make a real difference.

💬 What are your thoughts on introducing conversations about grief earlier in life?

Today, as many celebrate the 100th birthday of David Attenborough, we are reminded of the importance of the natural world that surrounds us every day.

We are privileged to care for beautiful grounds filled with wildlife, trees and changing seasons - peaceful spaces that bring comfort, reflection and connection for so many families.

It feels only right today to recognise someone who has inspired generations to appreciate, protect, and find wonder in nature.

Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David and thank you for helping the world see the beauty in the world around us 🌿

It's not always easy and that's one of the reasons it exists...

This week, we’ll be supporting Hospice UK and taking part in , sharing a series of thoughtful and supportive posts.

This year’s theme, “Let’s talk about death and dying,” is all about encouraging open, honest conversations, helping a topic that can feel difficult become a little more natural and less overwhelming.

We’ll be focusing on the small, everyday moments that can help start these conversations. Because when we feel more comfortable talking about death and dying, it can make it easier to understand, prepare and support one another when it matters most.

Throughout the week, we’ll be gently sharing information, guidance and resources to help support anyone who needs it now or in the future.

🤍 If you feel able to, join us in opening up the conversation.
