Let's take mental health awareness to the grass root!

The stats 📈 for mental illness is alarmingly on the increase, above 60 million people in Nigeria have one form of mental illness or the other.

The increasing decline in mental health in our society is a result of several factors and it is more heartbreaking to know that the number of mental health experts in the country is not sufficient for the population they serve.

We as individual members of society must join forces to promote the mental health of the populace.

We need to make mental health and well-being a global priority and get everyone involved.

How best can we do this?

Join me today at 6 pm, as I deliberate on the critical issues surrounding mental health and well-being with other mental health experts on Facebook.

▶We might sometimes become overwhelmed and fell like the weight of the world is on our shoulders.

✔ It is important that we realize our abilities, what we can and cannot do, and be realistic about them.

✔Being realistic will help us avoid putting ourselves under undue pressure which will be detrimental to our mental health!

What's that thing that holds you back from healing?
