🇬🇧 On Wednesday 25th February Ifield Park Care Home celebrated becoming a Veteran Friendly Care Home. 🇬🇧
We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition. It reflects our deep commitment to honouring, respecting and supporting the brave men and women who have served our country. Our veterans deserve care, dignity and understanding — and this milestone strengthens our promise to provide exactly that.
A very special thank you to George from our local Crawley Veteran drop in group, who served in the Second World War. George, your presence today meant so much to us. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Thank you to Emma, our Veteran Friendly Framework Project Support Officer and our head of marketing, Supriya, for your guidance and encouragement throughout this journey. Your support helped us achieve this important milestone.
We are also grateful to our Veteran Drop In Club members – Denise, Ann and Phil – and our local MBE John for supporting Ifield Park and our veteran community.
To our wonderful staff in Ifield Park, especially to our Veteran Champions Amy Edwards, Hayley McCafferty, Hayley Licences and Katie Robinson , thank you for your compassion, dedication and hard work.
And thank you to Kate Bassett for the fantastic 1940s entertainment — the music brought back memories.
