Call 999 for an ambulance or go to your nearest A&E immediately if you think you or someone you look after could have meningitis or sepsis.

We’re pleased to share the March Friends of Leacroft (FoL) newsletter, now available to read.

This month’s update includes:
- Support for people living with long‑term conditions
- New Parent & Baby Coffee Morning
- Helpful NHS resources for children and young people
- Plus, a first look at the new Friends of Leacroft website:https://www.friendsofleacroft.org/, where you’ll soon find information about FoL activities, newsletters, and ways to get involved.

Please note the FOL website is run by patient volunteers and not the practice.

A huge thank you to our Friends of Leacroft volunteers for their continued support and for helping us build a stronger community around the practice.

“Out of every woman is a river (life) waiting to flow.” - Jeredyne Jeredyne

For over 15 years, Rivers Women's Charity has seen first-hand the impact of giving to vulnerable women; giving time, respect, safety, opportunities, and a voice.

This International Women's Day, as we embrace the theme “Give to Gain”, we reflect on a simple truth: when women are supported to thrive, communities grow stronger.

Giving to women is not charity alone; it is investment in families, futures, and community wellbeing. When women’s lived experiences are heard and valued, better services are shaped, stronger partnerships are built, and lasting change becomes possible.

Together, by giving to women, we all gain.

Ramadan Mubarak to all observing 🌙

As we begin the holy month of Ramadan, we would like to offer our best wishes to our patients, staff and our wider community.

For individuals living with diabetes, fasting can present specific health risks, including changes in blood glucose levels. Diabetes UK provides clear, evidence‑based guidance to support people in making informed decisions about fasting and how to do so safely where appropriate. You can access their detailed advice on their website:

We wish all who are observing a peaceful and healthy Ramadan.
