Our focus has always been on telling as many people as we can about what we do (if they will listen 🤣).

Tuesday was a fantastic event hosted by Superdrug and savers_hb for International Women’s day.

It was a pleasure to open this discussion in the workplace and think about how women are effected at work and how many women in our lives are suffering in silence.

The big message was
❤️It’s never too late to improve your pelvic health
❤️There are simple steps you can introduce today to make a difference
❤️ there’s more than one way to work your pelvic floor

9:30am 50+ Keep Fit - 45 minutes of great music & movement. Low impact, great for bone health, muscle tone and feeling Fabulous!
£6 a class (if booked as a block.) One off trial available to see if you like it. Pay as you go £7 a class.

10:30 Pilates - 45 minutes of slow deliberate movements to ease stiffness in the body, mobilise joints and improve core strength. All abilities welcome.

Time to refresh????

Calling all those who have learnt Hypopressives and would like to refresh their training.

Sarah is holding an in person Refresher class on Sunday 15th February 11:30 in Sussex.

The venue is just off the M23 near Gatwick.

If you feel like you need some help with technique or want to learn some new postures. Want to try Hypopressive with equipment or just need to get yourself back into regular practice then this workshop is for you.

It’s an hour of practice, movement and relaxation to slow everything down and really put you first.

This is not for absolute beginners but for those who feel they need to go back to basics.

So many women are afraid or unsure of what they can do safely once they get a prolapse diagnosis.

With the right rehab building the core foundations and improving the connection between the core, diaphragm and pelvic floor it is possible to go back to running, weights and being active with confidence.

We teach Hypopressives but we also have PT qualifications and over 28 years experience in fitness so we can guide you through what’s safe whilst you are on your rehab journey.

What’s on tonight???

We started online classes in lockdown as a way to connect and keep people moving in those dark times.

We are so grateful and pleased that we continue these classes and have actually grown our online community.

We specialise in womens pelvic health so these classes are suitable for women with these issues but as they rehab they get stronger and can take on more challenging classes.

Our membership is a mix of ages and abilities wanting the ease of working at home when it suits them and choosing a class that works for them.

We love ❤️ teaching online and being able to connect with people all over the world.

Last week we had Perth Australia, Scotland, Ireland and all over England.

Why not join us ?? No over booked classes, no parking issues, no childcare problems, no long term commitment you can pay as you go or join our membership.

How does a holistic approach to core training and improving your pelvic health actually work?

It works on improving the connection between the diaphragm and pelvic floor with breath. Teaching us to relax and switch off the pelvic floor is as important as posture and reducing downward pressure.

With Hypopressives we learn to create lift in the abdomen this is the magic bit that reduces abdominal separation, lifts pelvic organ prolapses and strengthens the connective tissue.

This month we are doing more in person training.

Lizzie starts her NEW Pilates class in Barnstable and Sarah is running a workshop in Sussex.

The Fitter Floor and Core workshop will give you an understanding of what impacts your core and pelvic floor.

It gives you the basic tools to start improving pelvic floor weakness, prolapse symptoms, diastasis recti, back pain and post abdominal surgery recovery.

This workshop will teach you the basic Hypopressive technique so you can continue to practice at home.

Where:
Copthorne West Sussex close to the Surrey border

When:
Sunday 25th January 12:45-14:15
Then come back
Sunday 8th February
12:45-14:15

You need to attend both days of this workshop.

Price:
This is small group training so places are limited. You will receive exercises to practice in between workshop dates and join a WhatsApp group to help you stay motivated and be able to ask questions.

The workshop is £50 per person.

We really do LOVE what we do, so let us tell you about it.

We work with women who need help and support in building a stronger body from the inside out.

We do not build six packs, write weight loss plans, sell you shakes or supplements, coach for body building competitions or sports competitions or work with women who aren’t committed to put in the work needed to make a change to their circumstances.

We d0 work with women who want to stop leaking when they sneeze, cough or jump, want to fix their Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation) want to reduce the symptoms of a prolapse or have a specific need to rebuild their core.
